This review is from: AMD 760K Richland Quad-Core 3.8 GHz Socket FM2 100W AD760KWOHLBOX Desktop Processor
works out of box
easy install (but most processors are these days)
Runs hot and somewhat loud during gaming
Not going to lie, I need a better case that has better airflow (currently sporting an Apevia x-cruiser 1st gen. that I bought about 5 years ago).
Still docked an egg cause I don't think the stock cooler is enough for it and the fan is noticeably loud when running games. Still very impressed.
I bought this as a replacement to my old Core 2 Quad q8300. I was a little iffy on the virtual cores, wondering if they would be able to compare to the physical cores but am very impressed/pleased.
Just make sure you have a good airflow and after stock cooler for it.
