Stock Heatsink, spend $30 and save yourself some grief.
Everyone keeps comparing this CPU to others that do not include an APU. Apples and Oranges people. You are correct in a number crunch this one will not compare. Take away your $300 GPU and your CPU crumbles. This Chip is not really meant for people that want their blade of grass at 500 yards to have a shadow in the breeze. It does what it was meant for, budget gaming with out a discrete GPU. I highly recommend getting 2133mhz ram though. It really does make a difference.
I purchased this for my son's rig and it does everything we want flawlessly. Next on the upgrade list would be a discrete GPU and this Chip will do that just fine.
8gn G-Skill Sniper series RAM (nice and stable at 2133mhz)
Cooler Master Hyper 101 cooler (sits around 39c)
Cooler Master EX2 625 Power supply.
Thermaltake V3 Black AMD Edition Mid Tower Case (VL800P1W2N) (He loves the scorpion on the side)
