AMP DIED 04/08/2014
This review is from: Klipsch Synergy Sub-10 420W 10" Subwoofer Black
Pros:
Good sub for the price, especially if you can catch it on sale at Newegg for ~$170
Cons:
Poor Quality!!! Although this sub gave me about three years of service (lightly used), the amp blew upon moving it to my new home. After searching online I found this is a common problem with Klipsch subs. A replacement amp from Klipsch is ~$150, so you can practically buy a new sub.
On a side note when I was in college I purchase Klipsch 5.1 Promedia speakers for my computer. Motherboard/Amp died less than two years. Needless to say, I will never purchase Klipsch products again.
After researching HSU Research subs provide great sound, build quality, and value. Worth the extra money.
Overall Review:
I was a big Klipsch fan, but after two of their products have failed on me, it is clear the quality of their products are not what they used to be. I would highly recommend looking for a sub that will last.
