Nice idea, but poor QC for MSI. 07/06/2014
This review is from: MSI N750TI-2GD5/OC G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card
Pros:
I have to say this card gave me a very positive impression in the first couple hours.
1) Really low TPD. Full-load at 60W with highest temp of 68 C.
2) No external power supply needed. I used Cooler Master's 350W PSU and the whole set works perfect.
It performances very well on my Mini-ITX setting. For the first time I feel the power of technology----such a strong card with such little power consuming and such strong performance. I hope Nvidia can go further on this path.
Cons:
Really poor QC and this is the reason why i give it 1 star.
After hours of gaming, i got several black-outs and freezes----totally ruined my happy day. So I conducted an overall check from CPU to Ram to Graphic by using Aida 64, MemTest64, 3DMArk and Furmark but no error reported. Then I took this card to my friend's and same issue happened. My guess is there is something wrong with certain GPU ram, when you play games under ultra-settings it will be unstable.
I have to RMA, but i'm getting another GTX 750.
Hope i'm the only one giving 1 star---------since I really like the idea behind it.
