Overall Review:
Bought for wife and haven't used it a lot myself but here goes. Boots in about 10 seconds and loads programs quickly. Initial setup went ok but had to remove some bloatware and Office 365 so I could load Office 2013.
WiFi connected fine on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands but AC was a full bar weaker than 2.4GHz N (10 feet and through the floor).
I had read a lot of negatives about the screen and initially I would have agreed but I found the default brightness setting for off battery was 50%. After setting it to 100% it was a very good display. Vertical is fine up to about +\- 30 degrees, horizontal +/- 60 degrees. In short it is far better than a typical laptop TN screen but you may have to get used to it being a matte screen rather than the usual crystal clear type. After 5 minutes you won't notice it at all.
The wife has commented that she loves the keyboard backlight coming on when she starts to type and turns off after she finishes. The speakers are better than with her previous laptop. It's about 1/2 lbs lighter and noticeably thinner.
Her one complaint is that the words under the icons on the desktop shortcuts were smaller than her old notebook (768p). Wives... You can't win!
I know you can adjust the font size but I'm not going to do it just for spite.
