This review is from: Intel BOXDG33FBC LGA 775 Intel G33 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cheap price, with a fair amount of nice features. It's an intel.
Placement of sata slots to close for easy removal and installation, didn't read my extreme performance ram at the right timings. It has built in graphx (bleh). I know there's os software to finetune board settings, but it would be nice to be able to finish the os install first without issues:/ read below
I had to rma it, after 10 installs of windows xp pro, I had random different errors on many different things. Including, ram, floppy controller, built in nic. Got it to install once, but no network capability, even after getting it to actually find the network hardware, and forcing addresses, + checking for conflicting irqs. Pretty sure the board was just faulty though. I'd give it a 2 because of this but, the price and the built in 1gig eth, 1394 and sound make up a LOT of my thought on this board. Huh, it's amazing to think when 1394 came out cheap cards where 250 bucks, now its built into a 100 dollar mb. Give em a year or 2 and we'll have built in ppu's too. ,,,, yes I am an intel boi, and proud of it :P
