Rating + 1 Charged with no item sent ever

I ordered this at the beginning of December and was charged for the item. The status said shipping for two weeks without any change or delivery. When I called, they said that this item was out of stock and would not be available to send me. They did send my refund but it took another couple weeks to get it. I am so disappointed in the seller and how they handled my order. I may not order from Newegg at all again because of this experience.

I bought some John Varvatos cologne gift set , I got a different scent from John Varvatos collection. I went online to see what was up and Why I got a different one. The one I ordered was sold out, even thought when I did order it , it wasn't . So instead of making a complaint, I just kept the one they sent me. The product it's self was fine, it was a gift set, same brand but just different scent. Luckily my son actually liked that one too. The one I orignally ordered was his first pick . But other than that If I were to rate "Scented Monkey" it would be average . I did get my product in time for Christmas but not the exact product ordered .

Rating + 5 Straight Sexy Hair

This product is no longer available and has been the ONLY product to smooth out my wavy hair; I loved it! Through Internet search, I found Scented Monkey had it available and at half the original price. I ordered four spray cans and they were shipped quickly. VERY satisfied and highly recommend this company! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Rating + 1 Sent the wrong item under a misleading bottle

I purchased 5 bottles of Redken 8NG Sunflower and received the wrong product. The bottles were labeled as 8NG Sunflower but turned out to be something else when I applied the color. It did not look the same but I still thought it was just a matter of perception and used it: it ruined my hair. Wrong color! Wrong bottle! And most likely not even a real Redken product in it! The seller does not reply to your messages or inquiries. Be aware!

I am writing this because before ordering I noticed several negative reviews for this seller. I ordered on the 16th and received my the exact cologne and size I ordered 4 days later on the issues at all. Item is exactly as described and my wife loves the scent. It's also half of what retail places were wanting for it.

Rating + 1 Extremely Shady Seller - Beware.

Ordered hair product from scented monkey and ordered/paid through newegg. Sent me product expired by 2 years. Would not assist at all with refund or pay return shipping for the defective items. Newegg finally gave me an RMA and agreed via email to pay up to $10 shipping back. It's been a few months and newegg will not return my messages let alone the seller. I have full documentation proving I shipped back product successfully via UPS. Very frustrating. I have messaged / called upwards of 15 times.

I purchased product from this seller: The product (D.S. Laboratories Spectral.RS 60g/2oz. The product expiration date is in 2013. I think it is illegal to sell treatments like this one with expired date. Avoid this seller.
