Easy 30-Day Return Policy
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to EASTERNSTAR within 30 days of the purchase date, subject to the conditions and exclusions below.
1 You may initiate a return or exchange online from your order page.
Get an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number by filling out the online form found in the My Orders section.
2 Pack Your Item Properly
Place your item back into the original manufacturer's packaging. Then place it and your invoice into an outer shipping box. Be sure to pack it properly so your item won't get damaged.
3 Ship Your Item with Return Label
Securely affix your return label to the outside of the shipping package. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend you ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. We cannot be responsible for lost packages.
Please read conditions below. If all conditions are not met, EASTERNSTAR reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee. All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including an intact UPC code) and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and accessories. EASTERNSTAR can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.
Opened TVs, combos and monitors 37" and larger — original packaging cannot be unsealed
Opened computers and computer software — original packaging cannot be unsealed
Electronic software downloads
Opened consumable items (e.g., film, tapes, paper, bulbs, CD, DVDs, ink cartridges, etc.)
Any computers built or modified by EASTERNSTAR to customer specifications
Select special-order merchandise, or any item indicated on the website as nonreturnable
Underwater equipment that has been submerged
Opened or unwrapped educational tapes and books
Defective or Damaged Items
Defective items may be repaired, exchanged or refunded at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model.
Please allow 3-5 business days for mail-in exchanges to be processed.
Refunds & Credits
Once we receive and inspect your item(s), we will credit your account. Please allow 5-7 days for a credit to appear on your account. In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase. If payment was made by check, the refund check will be issued no sooner than 10 business days after the date of purchase. Please note: we can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.
EASTERNSTAR is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise. EASTERNSTAR is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only. Also, claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise.
1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
