I had to send the computer back once as the first time around it did not work at all, they were helpful and replaced the product but even that had some issues. However, they were patient with me and continued to work with me to make sure the computer was working. This is what I rated on, had the first one worked, they would have gotten at least one more star.

I would recommend this seller to other people. We ordered a Samsung Chromebook Plus (Used - Good condition). We received the product on time and noticed a hole in the packaging. Obviously I don't blame seller, likely it happened during transit. As expected for used goods, there was a small dent on the bottom of the device. Just stating facts and that I expected this because it was used. No hard feelings there. The only real issue is that the listing had advertised the stylus but the seller corrected me during our private convo that it was not included. LaTronics is an honorable seller and offered what I considered a rebate for the amount it would take to order a stylus separately. I consider my transaction with the seller to be the quintessential example of good business. But really he went above and beyond right away from my initial query. So I think a lot of it has to do with unreasonable buyers throwing so much shade for little inconsistencies and greediness on the buyer's behalf. I would definitely do business with LaTronics again as this was my first real used purchase online and it was a solid experience. The laptop itself? It works wonderfully! Keyboard is not sticky or worn, it responds quickly. The laptop was cleaned obviously so adding a user and getting started was a fast and seamless. I found the trackpad to work well and respond easily to my fingertip commands! (use two fingers to right-click! I learned that one recently). This model is a touchscreen (if you didn't know by the mention of stylus) and has some nice built in utilities to draw on a blank canvas or to tutor students by flipping the screen and folding it backwards into tablet mode! A great purchase and a good seller to work with.

They shipped to the wrong address - I tried to call immediately after placing the order

I tried to call customer service right after placing the order as the order confirmation email had an address that I don't live at nor would I have entered. No answer. I looked up the phone number for LATronics and called and it rang for a long time and then someone answered with a different company name and they said "no this is not LATronics" - but they then transferred me and it rang and nobody answered. After nearly an hour of trying to contact someone I gave up. Mean while I had to order another one from another company which arrived in 2 days without a problem.

LA-Tronics Response:
Customer never contacted us. Had the customer sent us a message through the Newegg messaging system we could have helped. This is the first time we are hearing of this issues and once again instead of sending a message negative feedback was left instead. We have no idea what number was attempted however we do not transfer people over since we only have one phone for the company and only one person answers calls. Had buyer contacted Newegg they would have also been able to patch the customer to us however again we never heard from customer until this negative feedback was received.

Seller stated they were on the "West Coast" and that is why the item took 3 days to be shipped. But the package came from Connecticut. Then it took a week to arrive. The Item description was not correct. I needed Win 7 and that is how this was described. The laptop came with Win 10, took me 10 hours of my time to re-install. When I emailed seller needing the Win 7 Key, they had none and I had to use one I had purchased, costing me more money. The seller told me to just return the laptop and they would refund my money. This would have made me miss my window for this project. Not what I am accustom to from Newegg.

LA-Tronics Response:
We are not in Connecticut and the item did ship from California. We are only located in CA and have no shipping warehouses outside our shop. We do our best to help out our customers and offered the customer a replacement and stated he did not want to wait for the replacement.

Great Item, Unbeatable Price

I was looking for the Microsoft Surface Dock, and the price was too high everywhere I looked, until I found it at LaTronics. The unit is new and costs much less than other retailers. It arrived quickly, and works like a charm. I am very happy with both the product and the service I received from LaTronics. Job Well Done!!

I originally tried to purchase a refurbished Dell tablet from LA-Tronics. The order went through just fine, but was canceled a few days later for no reason given. I contacted customer service to ask why it was canceled. They responded that they were out of stock. The Newegg website said it was in stock. Ok, maybe it was a glitch in their inventory system, but in this day in age, it shouldn't be too hard to keep it up to date. I decided to purchased a different tablet that was supposed to be in "Used-Good" condition. It shipped and I received it fairly quickly. My opinion on the condition is a bit different then theirs. I would rate it as fair. The stickers on the back were coming off and or no longer readable. The rear camera module doesn't work either and Windows was not activated. Since I won't be using the camera and I had a copy of Windows 10, it wasn't such a big deal for me to workaround. I did not contact customer service for the above issue since it was going to be more of a hassle than it needed to be. Just be warned that what they advertise may not be what you receive.

Broken product, awful service.

They actually changed the tracking number at the last minute so it showed delivered about a week before it actually arrived. They refused to do anything while it was missing- just sat on their hands and made me wait without even an expectation of when or what the next step was. The laptop was broken. Don't buy refurbished from Newegg Marketplace sellers. This is my 2nd one that arrived broken. No compensation of any kind for this being the second laptop I've had to return because Newegg allows trash to be sold on it's website and I get to wait another couple weeks while I lose money every day for something I was supposed to have a month ago.

LA-Tronics Response:
The tracking was never changed. That is a flat out lie and buyer knows it. Claimed the item was lost and we submitted a claim to USPS, when we informed the buyer that a claim had been submitted, the item had magically been delivered on that Sunday. He then claimed the item arrived damaged. We asked the customer to send us pictures of the damage to submit a damage claim to USPS and he refused to do so. We finally sent him a return label and has not returned the item. Once he returns the item we will issue a refund however now he wants the refund to be given in the form of a check or gift card without returning the item. That is not how the return system works. Plus this is only his first purchase from us and we are not responsible for whatever other purchase this buyer is claiming. We always honor our warranty and stand behind our products. Now that the buyer is being forced to return the item to receive a refund he has turned to leaving negative feedback about how we are refusing to issue a refund because we won't issue a refund the way he wants us to which is not the way to issue a refund and is impossible for us to do.

The LCD screen came broken at the corner. I sent pictures which indicated that the product was broken prior to or during packaging. The item was well secured in the box, and the box and no indication of any mistreatment. Seller expressed animosity towards me for suggesting that they had shipped a damaged product. (I was just giving them all the information that I could so that they could track down the problem. I thought I was being helpful.) Then, they requested that I wait until they settled the claim with the shipper. I reminded them that the pictures that I had sent them highly exonerated the shipper from culpability and that I would prefer that they expedite the return process. Seller accused me of being uncooperative and has delayed the refund. I will intentionally avoid ever working with this shipper in the future. I've never experienced such childish behaviour at a customer facing organization before.

LA-Tronics Response:
Why would we leave ourselves open to the possibility of a return and a claim or negative feedback. We cannot block buyers otherwise we would block the buyer from ever purchasing from us. He refused to work with us and even blamed our shipper saying he probably broke it and to avoid cancelling the order he shipped the part anyway never mind that we had plenty more screens in stock. Sellers should be weary of this buyer. He even threatened to go the shipping company and personally prevent us from starting a claim. Worst customer ever. We pride ourselves in working with our customers and if customers are willing to work with us we usually resolve any issues as quickly as possible. Says we expressed animosity for suggesting we would ship a broken item who would not do so, and then has the gall to act as if the accusation of purposely shipping broken items is just being "helpful." If he really wanted to be helpful he would have provided us with the information and pictures we requested and allowed the claim process to take its course. We only asked that he wait until shipping company picked up the damaged item not that the whole claim process be completed and we would have sent a replacement regardless of the result of the claim, but instead he decided to make threats to ensure that the claim would fail....very helpful indeed.

Acknowledging the fact of the New Year's holiday and that it was free shipping, the delivery was extremely slow. Other than that it was a good transaction. I'm very happy with the computer.

I ordered 4 used Chromebooks and they came very well packaged and all in very good condition like the ad said. I emailed them about an issue that ended up not being the fault of the computers and they emailed me back within hours each time ready to help. Highly recommend them.
