FitBit Aria Scale broken on arrival

0/10 would not recommend. The sensor is broken and thinks there is always some slight amount of weight on it, preventing it from shutting down and so it continually wastes batteries. It also does not know when you step off the scale because of this. Basically, it's unusable.

I lost my shirt on this purchase. I paid a little more because of shorter delivery time. Delivery day I had a note on door saying a signature was required. I then had to take a day off from work to sit at home and wait on UPS. First and last purchase from this seller.

Customer sent me a defective product. That happens, I get it. What I don't get is their response. I called newegg and requested an exchange. They sent me an RMA, but with no shipping label. I had to navigate newegg's (very long) hold times to get through to the seller before they offered to even pay for me to ship the defective product back to them. And now I have to wait, presumably until the end of the day, before I can get the label and ship it out, so it probably won't go out until tomorrow. And then I'll have to wait until that product gets back to them, presumably 5-7 days. And then another 3-5 days for them to ship the replacement. And then another 5-7 days for the replacement to get here. That means that, assuming the replacement product works, I'll have to wait something like a month after I paid them my money to have a working product. At best. That just seems batty to me. If they send a defective product, and fitbit confirms that it's defective, they should be the one doing the waiting, not me. I asked them to ship, in an expedited fashion, a replacement now, while they waited for the defective product to come back. Sarah, the person I spoke to, told me they couldn't do that. After a bit, she backtracked to "we won't do that" rather than "we can't do that." Why not?

I have returned the item for replacement at a cost of $17 shipping. Not a good deal for a $49 purchase. Maybe I should have just asked for a refund. Waiting now to see if the replacement item works correctly.

Bought the Fitbit Aria scale because it was a great price. Little did I know it was a trap to purchase a piece of junk that didn't work. Do not buy from this seller they are scam artists. They also didn't get back to me for an entire day and when they did they just said they would send me return instructions eventually.

I received my aria scale and it wasn't working. Contacted the seller to return item. Got a return item slip but are responsible to ship the product back. I have send numerous request for a shipping label but no response. I called Fitbit to get help in maybe getting this scale to work and have been inform that this Seller is under investigation by Fitbit. Fitbit will not honor any thing that is being sold by Newegg as this vendor is selling broken scales where the warranty has been tempered with. Called Newegg and was told they couldn't help me, as this item was sold by a 3rd party. I told Newegg, I have a case number with Fitbit, and I believe Newegg should be held responsible for permitting this vendor to sale over there website. My next step will be the BBB. I believe the vendor should also pay for the return shipping as he sold a broken merchandise and it seems, per Fitbit, does that all the time.

I would not recommend this seller to others. I received a malfunctioning unit and spent hours troubleshooting. Newegg did its best to help, but Premier gave me a refund instead of the replacement I requested. They suggested I repurchase a new unit, which had since increased in price and Premier stated they would not price match my original purchase. I love Newegg, but I will never purchase from Premier again.

As someone who runs an online electronics company on the side, I recommend you be very careful. I purchased a refurbished laptop here for the sole reason that it was $40 cheaper than everyone else and had free shipping. As with all "refurbished" items, you need to be careful. Refurbished should mean "tested and confirmed to work like new". The item I received was neither tested nor working like new. I am familiar with the typical return/replacement process: contact seller, request return, receive shipping label, send back, seller will review, seller will send other working item back. This seller had the AUDACITY to say I need to pay for shipping on my item. Here's a tip, just ask for prepaid and they will usually remember it's their responsibility. With the company, customer service is practically nonexistent. It has been nothing but pre-written responses. A highlight of this was when I came home from work to a UPS driver frantically looking around for a package I was never told to put on the porch. Luckily, she was willing to wait and had a return shipping label in hand (the company never sent me one). It should have been a red flag when I found the laptop was listed as an i7 and an i5 on the same page (I knew the model was an i7, but it was very unclear). Overall, this process was nowhere near worth the money saved. You'd be better off with purchasing at the very popular online auction site which I can't say the name of in this review (they are held to much higher standards).

I purchased a Fitbit scale, and it was a defective unit. It looks like this seller has a history of sending out "refurbished" units that have not been repaired. If you want to buy a broken unit, use this seller. I wish I had not waisted my time... Newegg should remove this seller.

I bought a refurbished Fitbit Aria from this company and upon receiving the scale it would not give a reading of my weight and gave me an error code. When I looked up the error code it said that it was a defective sensor. It also had a wi-fi network still setup with it, so it was not even reset to factory settings. When I requested a refund I had to ship it back to them at the cost of $25 when I only paid $54 to begin with. I wanted a replacement because the price had gone up $10 and it was too difficult to work out, so I am just going to buy it from another vendor on another site other than newegg.com. I think I'll steer clear of Newegg Marketplace purchases in the future. Maybe even Newegg all together since I have to pay for shipping back to them where their are other vendors that don't do that. At the very least Newegg could pay for shipping through their account (because they probably would get a discount) and charge you for it.

"Refurbished" item didn't seem to have actually been refurbished

I bought a refurbished wifi scale. The item arrived well packaged and appeared to have been refurbished but upon turning it on I found that it was still configured to connect with the previous owner's wifi. Unsurprisingly, the item never worked, even after properly configuring the wifi settings.

Worst seller. Never ever buy from this. Sent modem router without serial number and then never sent return shipping label.

Jimit, I apologize for the issue with the Serial Number. Netgear blacks out the Serial number for their refurbished good and we are actively working with them to stop this practice. The modem is fully functional and can be set up using the IMEI number as well.
