i ordered a Pioneer AVH-100DVD In-Dash DVD/CD/MP3 Receiver for my fiance for xmas when i received it i realized that newegg had posted on the ad that it had bluetooth when it didnt have it, which was my whole reason for buying it. i called Sound of Tri-State and they were VERY helpful, probably the BEST customer service i have EVER had the pleasure of dealing with, the lady told me that she would fix the problem and she sent me a return shipping label and sent me a factory refurbished PIONEER AVH-X2500BT with bluetooth for the same price as the other. i will definitely buy from this seller again!

Shipping took longer than I expected. The box my car speakers were shipped in was beat to hell, and did not look like it was taped very well. It had USPS "REPACK" stickers all over it. The item works fine, but it had me worried that they did such a poor job packing it. But for the fantastic price on the speakers, I would say it was worth it.
Seller Response:Remember transit time from East Coast to West Coast with no cost shipping does take a little while, if you wanted to pay extra for expediting shipping we could have accomodated you. We recycle shipping boxes to preserve the environment, I apologize if this unnerved you; but I assure you the speakers themselves and the boxes in which those are encased in are brand new. Thank you for your business.

Speaker covers pictured in ad not included with the speakers. Epic fail.
Seller Response:we upgraded your order to the new 2014 model at no additional charges. The new model doesn't come with the grills, and most people use their factory grills when replacing speakers inside the vehicle. Sorry about that, we take full responsibility for this error.

    Return Policy!
    Customers may return any products purchased from Sound of Tri-State within 30 days from day of purchase. Customer may request for a replacement product or a refund. If requesting a refund, a 15% restocking fee will be applied to your return.

    There is absolutely NO refund for car audio products that have been installed.
    Shipping charges are not refundable.
    Return shipping charge will be applied for refused packages.
    All damages that occur in transit must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, otherwise any request for return based on damage may be rejected at the discretion of Sound of Tri-State's management.

    Items with manufacturer's defect:

    There is absolutely NO refunds for car audio products that have been installed. If the unit is defective, we can accept for repair only. Proof of professional installation is required. Please verify that the unit is compatible with your vehicle before ordering.
    Please return the defective product and we will promptly ship a replacement out to you.
    If you are returning a defective item and do not want a replacement, there will be a 10% processing fee applied to your return.
    Items returned as defective that are found not to be defective will incur a 15% restocking fee for the returned unit, therefore we suggest contacting the manufacturer as listed in your owners manual for support prior to requesting a return authorization.
    Refunds will not be issued if a return is made without a RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization).

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
