I placed an order by mistake. That was my fault. Everything after that has been a frustrating experience, and i've still had zero communication back from anyone at Star Eyewear. I immediately attempted to cancel the order, which is an option when contacting this seller. I heard nothing back. I tried to call (several times)... nothing. Finally I left a message, and I never heard back. The item arrived, and I've been trying to get an return # from the company. They haven't answered the phone, or returned any of my emails (this is a week later). Finally I called newegg directly and they are working on getting a return label for me. This has taken a lot of time (and now the return shipping $) that would have been unnecessary if the order had been canceled to begin with. Still not sure if anyone besides the shipping department actually works at Star Eyewear. Very frustrated with their customer service (or lack thereof).

I'm very pleased with the Ray Bans I purchased from Star Eyewear. My order arrived within a week and it's what I exactly wanted. They had the best price I could find either locally or on the web. Great service and I would highly recommend purchasing from this seller!

"Lost" Item in Transit, Poor Communication, STILL NO REFUND 9/13/2012 11:23:35 PM
I ordered some sunglasses back on 8/31 very early in the AM (Fri before Labor Day) & paid to expedite shipping in event that the item didn't send until the Tue after Labor Day (I HOPED for a shipment later the same day, since it was placed before "business hours". It didn't "ship" until Tue 9/4 (USPS Priority). The tracking conveyed it never left the origin city &, after Saturday came, I knew there was a problem. This seller has a terrible system. When I tried to call, I got VOICEMAIL...I even tried to call & go thru options to BUY something & got VOICEMAIL. After 4-5 more calls, I finally got thru & spoke with an agent. I explained the situation & requested an immediate refund of the expedited shipping (still haven't been credited 4 days later) & then a follow-up of the shipment. The next day, I get an email saying the shipment is lost & a list of options, 1 of which is to wait 3-4 WEEKS for the frames..WHAT? I request a full refund..3 days later, NO REPLY/ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & NO CREDIT.
