Box came with 2 1/2 in hole in side, corner pushed in from an obvious drop and various tears in shipping container which is not necessarily the seller's fault.

My receiver arrived quickly and I've had no issues beyond the typical stuff you expect with new AV hardware. Nothing wrong with the unit itself at all! I was blown away by how much better my SVS towers sounded with a TX NR646.

Excellent product , I purchased this receiver to replace the one that came with my surround sound it would would not recognize any of my HDMI connections. I thought it would qualify on the recall Onkyo had but it was declined. So it was useless to me so I needed to get a new one. I bought a model that continued with my 7.1 system but without THX, never used it anyway as I'm not a Star Wars fan. I was very pleased with the new receiver it put out more watts and had greater speaker capacities with better configurations. It was a good purchase. Even though I was extremely disappointed that Onkyo did not fix my old receiver they have a great product and did me a favor because hands down the new one is two times the receiver at a fraction of the price, win win for everybody.

-I have not set up my stereo all the way yet but everything appears as advertized. It showed up quickly and their was no issues.

-Only thing I would warn is that the box from the manufacturer with the pictures and description was the shipping box. Make sure you have somebody who can pick it up quickly because it did not require a signature and this type of item is likely to "grow legs and walk away" if left unattended on a doorstep in a high-traffic community.

I just built my first home theater system in my living room.I have a Marantz reciever,two Polk 45 monitors.And a Polk center channel,and two Polk rear speakers.It sounded good,but was missing a sub.I bought an Energy sub,twelves inches of roaring thunder!!.Man does this thing sound AWSOME!!.If you are making a surround sound system..trust me..a good sub makes the difference..An Energy Power 12 inch..will keep thing rocking!!.

Stereo Advantage horrible service 2/16/2014 4:18:23 AM
They didn't answer my emails, they had the wrong 800 number - I had to call their store. Almost had to start a credit card dispute. Horrible customer service. Can't be trusted. I'm shocked that Newegg lets them in the Marketplace. I'd like to give them zero eggs - their manager needs to get them some customer service lessons

Since I cant update my origional review; I finally received a reply regarding my issue. The customer representative explained the confusion and was quick to ship out my second speaker. I didn't expect it so soon, 2 day versus the 7 day shipping from the original purchase. It made it just in time for the holidays. I commend the seller on this behalf. I would have given 5 Eggs but with the initial confusion and difficulty to reach someone drops it by 1 Egg in my book. Unfortunately I cannot edit my original post so the seller's rating is skewed. Hopefully the seller can get those issues sorted out before I purchase from them again.

Would not even give one star. Took forever to get UPS return label. Now they have had the goods since 12/5 and no response and no reply to messages left. I want my $ back. I need a response within 48 hours or I will be forced to allow my bank to file a complaint with Consumer Affairs under Deceptive Trade Practices. Please and Thank you - my preference is a refund although originally asked for replacement. My experience with this has changed my mind about doing business with this seller.

After purchasing two each Klipsch RS-42 II surrounds, only one arrived on my doorstep 6 days later. Now if both arrived, this wouldn't be an issue. The issue comes from lack of customer support. I've phoned their office three times and emailed once trying to get a hold of someone behind a desk. I've used the 800# provided by Newegg, and I went to their Facebook and used that number. The number off of FB took me to a person who told me the guy wasn't there that handled NE purchases. Hmm, now I'm starting to get upset. He transferred me to his desk and I left a calm message. That was on the 20th. I understand that it is close to Xmas, but I want the piece of mind knowing my second speaker is on the way. So my advise to any would be purchaser's, don't order any more than 1 item at a time from these guys because you wont get it. Split up your orders and prepare for the runaround game if you try to contact them. You have been warned. I may update this once I finally speak to someone.
