Pros: -has Ryzen 5 3600x -Has Radeon Rx 5600xt -Has 16 gigs of RAM -fast startup time -Quality case -RGB looks good and is customizable (Rainbow, Red, Green, Blue, Pink, Teal, Yellow, White, Shift between colors, Blink between colors, off) -easy setup out of the box - plug it in and play, software already installed, though you may need to update Windows -Came with a decent gaming mouse - typically stock peripherals are cheap quality
Cons: -only 500 gbs ssd, no HDD -loud fans, even when surfing web -no wifi card (I'm not sure if this is standard but I was dissapointed) -Keyboard is low quality, has awful Shift key -Computer has crashed several times on me today (I've been using it for almost the whole day nonstop, and it has only crashed when loading applications after I quit out of a game, not while gaming, but be warned if you plan on using it daily for long periods of time)
Overall Review: GPU and CPU: The Ryzen 5 3600x and Radeon Rx 5600xt pair perfectly with each other, easily achieving 1440p and 100+ frames on games like Fortnite, Apex, COD, or Rust. I have not been able to test larger games like Cyberpunk and GTA V. RAM: The 16 gb of RAM is perfect for gaming, and should be considered a minimum for any serious gaming. Storage: Most games today are between 50-100gbs and 500gbs of storage is simply not enough. I am going to have to add a HDD in the future, as more games get released and as I use this computer more. Come on ABS, my xbox has 500 gbs of storage. Other Misc Things: -this computer does not have a WiFi card so you will only be able to use it with an ethernet cord. So that means either you have an ugly cord running from your router to your computer or you have to bust a hole in the wall to somehow hide your ethernet cord. -It ships with an ARES M1 Keyboard and a Zeus E2 mouse. The keyboard is legitimately one of the worst keyboards I have used since the school-issued computer lab keyboards from high school. Resting your hand on the bottom left side of the keyboard (as if you were playing WASD style, like everyone does) cause the keyboard to bend slightly, as if the plastic piece was warped when it shipped. Additionally, if you press on the left or right side of the SHIFT key, it does not want to go down, and forces your to push a little harder for it to submit to your demands. The keyboard is not completely bad, however, as it does have RGB, which boosts your Frame Rate and makes your aim more accurate (no, seriously). The Zeus E2 mouse is surprisingly decent. It also has RGB, and a button that allows for a higher mouse sensitivity. It has two buttons for the thumb that are fairly easy to press. It is a simple lightweight mouse that I am pleased with. -The fans are noticeably loud, even when not gaming. I think there is a software that allows for quieter running, but I have yet to find it. Crashes: This computer has crashed twice today and once yesterday, however I have been using it for 10+ hours today and about 7 hours yesterday playing games, listening to music, and surfing the web. I think that it is because it is overheating, but I am not sure. This rig does have a noticeably fast startup time, so if it crashes it is not that big of a deal to get back to where you started. It has only crashed when I have been surfing the web or opening an application, about 5 minutes after I close out of a game, not while in the game. Overall: This computer is the best one I have seen in several months of research for the price. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because of the small amount of storage, lackluster keyboard, and the lack of a WiFi card.
