Overall Review: Should have read the comments in full before making the purchase, I was in a rush because I was afraid this might sell out. The PC arrived and with benchmark testing performance landed at the bottom 6 percentile, runs Microsoft Flight sim at 17fps on a 1440p monitor. I think I can speak for many here: All these comments about setups, updates, hard wire it yourself are not the purpose of buying a pre-built PC for the rest of us, I bought it because just so I don't have to deal with the technical challenges because I know that's not something I'm capable to and willing to pay the extra to avoid that, so what's the point of delivering a piece of underperforming machine that requires DIY?

Pros: Visually very nice all around.

Cons: System was not ready to go on arrival.

Overall Review: For starters, the latch that keeps the pretty hefty graphics card in place was not attached. The result was that the card fell halfway out and the mounting bracket bent during shipping, now the card cannot attach as it is supposed to. Luckily I work on computers for a living, and I was able to work around it. The device does not pick up known good hard drives, and I have not yet been able to rectify this. I cannot recommend this unit to anyone at this price point. I cannot recommend this unit to anyone not prepared to fix it before they can use it.

Pros: None

Cons: Just like all other ABS reviews you have to update BIOS. But that didn't solve my problems. Top fans don't work. RGB doesn't work. Acts like my ethernet cable is not connected every other restart. Garbage.

Overall Review: I would never recommend any computer by ABS. This is my 2nd try and both have been garbage.

Pros: Other than setting up extra cable for the GPU and BIOS update it seems to run fine like they are supposed to. No bloatware and hardware all came as advertised. RGB lights work fine too.

Cons: Thanks to HC's review above, I did notice EVGA XC3 RTX 3080 cables were connected by only one 8-pin coming from the PSU, where it daisy-cabled into two 8-pin slots on the RTX 3080. No way you can power this GPU with single 8-pin cable you need two separate 8-pin connecters each going from power supply to the GPU. To do this, you have to do some work: 1. Unplug ONLY the daisy 8-pin from the RTX 3080. 2. Open the metal back plate to access power supply unit. 3. Remove 4 screws securing the psu from the back chassis. 4. Feed the extra 8-pin cable that came included through the hole right below the graphics card. Should be able to connect to the psu through it. 5. Plug in the other end of the cable to the RTX 3080 slot where the daisy cable was. After that, I had to update the BIOS because it was super outdated. just look up "How to Update Bios Aorus Z490 Pro AX motherboard" on youtube. Needs a thumb drive for it. CPU idle temp went down from 55C to 38C after the update.

Overall Review: I gave it 4 stars because the earlier reviews helped me fix the problems that came with the pc after which PC runs smooth with idle temps at 38C for both cpu and gpu. Benchmark runs the CPU around 60-70C and gpu around 70-78C. Took me about 30 minutes to rework the cable and update the bios which isn't too bad of a work.

Pros: The RBG looks great.

Overall Review: The system did not boot. The graphics card came DoA, after researching the motherboard - the light signaling the boot issues was sourced to the 3080 card. The card was an EVGA 3080 (didn't boot, so unsure of the specific model) - but I will mention, this card was one of those mentioned in the "dead batch" in social media a while back. I'm going to RMA, and I will update with the RMA'd unit.

Pros: The RTX 3080 GPU. Intel I9-10850K (Fantastic Processor) Z490 Aorus Pro AX Motherboard (Adequate for Overclocking) G.Skill TridentZ RGB Memory (Fast Speed and RGB, if you like it)

Cons: Power Supply and CPU Liquid Cooling AIO (I did not recognize the brand, but will keep open mind on cheaper brand) PC Cabling (Rushed build, but serviceable)

Overall Review: The PC was packaged well and shipping was acceptable. The computer booted up fine. Upon the first reboot, the LAN connection was dead. After troubleshooting the PC, I found that I could delete the LAN driver and reinstall it and the ethernet connection would work until the next reboot. This is not a Newegg or ABS problem. It was the motherboard. I updated the bios, LAN driver, and finally the chipset. Updating the chipset finally fixed the problem for me. The computer works perfectly now. Of course I removed the RTX 3080 and installed it into my actual build, but installed my old card. This PC computer build with its Intel processor, Gigabyte motherboard, and lessor known PSU and AIO manufacturer runs well. The case is well built and provides more then enough cooling for the computer. I am impressed with this PC and it will be a secondary computer in my home.

Good machine -- but a bit DYI required10/26/2020 4:41:34 PM

Pros: Well built, good quality components, no bloatware, all needed cables are included

Cons: 1) No screws for adding SSD 2) Fan rattling on highest setting 3) Can't tune the fans to lowest speeds so makes a bit of noise 4) Yes, you have to reconnect the graphics card correctly (extra cable in the case) 5) Need to update the BIOS on the board. Recommend that you do it before activating windows.

Overall Review: Very good machine with very good cooling; much better than many mainstream brands. I'll probably move the fan connectors from the included controller to the MB connections so that it can run quietly.
