Pros: - Quality parts all around (in my case)
- Decent price given current availability
- Fairly well put together
Cons: - Some clutter with the wiring especially on the back end. Also see below.
- No RGB control for front fans and single rear fan, RGB control remote for CPU cooling, software control for RAM RGB. So no coordination here.
- Biggest Knock absolutely is that the heatsink/waterblock for the CPU obstructs the free slots for additional RAM. This is a little sloppy but it looks to be fixable by rotating the waterblock either 90 or 180 degrees if this is allowed. So if I can't rotate this thing that's a problem for memory expansion. I haven't tried reinstalling it yet so we will see. It should come the correct way or with a cooler that doesn't cause this problem.
Overall Review: So here is what I ended up with..
Asus Prime Z490-P motherboard
Asus RTX3070 OC 8GB (maybe I got lucky with this one, brand varies)
Intel 1TB SSS
Intel 3.8ghz 10th gen CPU
Gigabyte 750W power supply
Deep Cool case
Gamidas CPU watercooler w/RGB remote
Trident Z RGB PC3200 8gb x 2 sticks
I mean I would have picked most of these parts myself aside from the case and CPU cooler.
And I got the free 27" Acer gaming monitor with it for 2k total. Good deal if this PC doesn't just take a dump on me anytime soon. With all the name brand parts here I'm not too worried.
Pros: Great spec, even if priced separately, it's closed to the selling price of this machine:PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7 10700K 3.80GHz (5.10GHz Turbo Boost)MOTHERBOARD: ASUS PRIME Z490-PGPU: ASUS TUF NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GBRAM: G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB DDR4 3200MHzSTORAGE: 1TB M.2 NVMe SSDCOOLING: Gamdias RGB 240MM Liquid Cooling + 4 RGB FansPOWER: 750W 80 Plus GoldCASE: Matrexx 50 RGBOS: Win10 Pro 64gbit v20H2Quick delivery of the system and pretty much plug and play!
Cons: - Biggest complaint, the CPU cooling fan hose is blocking the 4th RAM slot, if you get a base ram upgrade without the RGB features then it can fit the 4th DIMM slot, but if anything else with an extra width it would be blocked.- the back panel needs way better cable management (added picture)- As mentioned in other reviews, have to register the Win10 Product, not a big hassle.
Overall Review: A great system that I actually received, granted some might get different manufacture items with the same spec. Pricing each individual part is nearly the total value of this build. (But the bonus free(Acer KA272U 27" monitor was a nice addition). Quick delivery. The only things I've added after receiving the items are upgraded memory (2x16GB RAM instead) and extra storage spaces (2x6TB SATA 7200 drives). And as shown in one of the pictures, 6 monitor total display.
Pros: Mine came with no loose wires, no issues whatsoever. I'm an intermediate user, so it was no problem for me to go on ABS' website and find their instructions to use the command prompt to retrieve my Windows activation key. That's consistently the biggest complaint I've read in other reviews. It took me literally 2 minutes, in my opinion the 1 or 2 egg reviews that ding ABS for this should be disregarded, because they didn't know what they were doing (and obviously didn't READ THE PAPERWORK that came with their new expensive PC)
I got the following components;
-ASUS Prime Z-490P Motherboard
-MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ventus 3X OC GPU with Samsung memory (middle-high end of the MSI 3070 range, SCORE!)
-2x 8GB Trident Z RGB 3200 Mhz RAM You have to go into BIOS and enable XMP to get the full 3200 Mhz though, and you also ought to update the BIOS and all drivers upon receiving the PC too because ALL mine were out of date. Not ABS' fault necessarily, just something to be aware of)
-Gamdias AIO CPU Cooler 240mm (kinda meh to be honest, also it does block the first RAM slot in case you want to use it, you'll need to reorient the cooler block, which will make the logo either sideways or upside down, or replace it with a different AIO, custom loop, or air cooler.)
-Intel SSD 1TB
-ASUS PCIe->M.2 WiFi Card (antenna connects via wire, magnetic. Also mine was white, rest of system black, didn't really match but works well)
Think that's everything. The case is Deep Cool, with RGB 120mm fans. They can be changed as far as color and pattern, no solid on unfortunately, and no way to sync to motherboard or other component RGB patterns, which is meh.
Cons: RGB Case fans could be bigger, also you ought to be able to sync them to your other component RGB by connecting to motherboard, alas you cannot.
AIO should not have been chosen for this build because anyone wanting to upgrade RAM by adding two more sticks will need to remove and repaste the AIO block, this will require you to turn the logo either sideways or upside down also which really just would bug me. I'm going to replace the entire AIO when it comes time to upgrade RAM because I also kinda want to do a full custom water loop. If they ever make a water block for my GPU that is...
Nothing else really negative to say. I would probably have gone with higher end components in some cases than what I got, but none of it is "bad" or struggles to do it's job for what I need, so on the whole it's a good setup for a good price, especially considering the GPU I got. Luck of the draw there of course, but man I am happy I got the MSI RTX 3070 Ventus 3X OC!
Overall Review: Things not to forget:
1. You need to read the paperwork. They tell you how to go to their website for full instructions on activating Windows. The key is right there on your machine, you just have to enter Command prompt to get it.
2. Update your BIOS and drivers, including GPU BIOS and GPU Drivers. Then you need to enable XMP for RAM to reach 3200 Mhz, and if your video card supports it (which I think all of them that come with this build should) then you can also enable cool features like Resizable Bar by updating and enabling in BIOS as well.
3. This really should be #1 but you need to check all connections and wires to be sure nothing is loose, or disconnected. Also make sure you are OK with the way the cables are routed, it's not the cleanest cable management in the world but it's fine honestly.
100% would recommend this prebuilt. No proprietary parts or software that you're required to use, which might limit your usability of the PC. If this is in your price range, and if you're ok with getting a slightly undesirable AIO and case, you'll likely end up with a really nice GPU at the very least! I'm a very satisfied customer, and will definitely buy from ABS again!
Overall Review: Only thing that went wrong through my whole process was the 1st time it was delivered the graphics card got damaged. So sent it back ABS told me 7-10 business days instead got it back 5 days later EXTRA packaged and a new graphics card. Works great and runs great everything is on ultra and runs flawlessly. Would highly recommend
Overall Review: Gigabyte Gpu is not being recognized, theres green lines all over my screen, when I try to update drivers computer crashes, nothing I seem to do really helps at all. Will be asking for a refund and hopefully I get a gpu that actually works
Pros: -Fast and powerful
-Plug and play
-Good cable management
Cons: -Watercooler installation blocks access to one of the ram slots.
-No light controls for the fans
Overall Review: I haven't found a way to control or turn off the lights on the fans yet but that's very minor. There are four RAM slots so but I cannot fit ram in the fourth slot next to the CPU because the water cooler is blocking it. I will need to fiddle around with it to add more RAM. If 16 GB is enough for you I can recommend it. Everything else is perfect.
- Can easily run pretty much any game 200fps @ 1080p with Max settings. Minor tweaking to get higher frame rates.
- Runs VR like a dream.
- Next to no component bottlenecking.
- Included SSD boots entire machine to a fully working state in seconds.
- Excellent cooling and case airflow.
-Really nice, simple mid tower with no nonsense: uses tempered glass panels to keep the components and the light show the centerpiece.
-Included RGB on CPU cooler and RAM has lots of customization options and room for personalization.
-The build looks very sleek and clean.
NICE TO HAVES:
-Included WiFi card with corded magnetic Antenna for if you can't use Ethernet.
-Additional space for upgrades and PCIe components if needed.
-MoBo Bios is easy to navigate and make changes with.
-Two addition SSD brackets on the back with space for easy installation.
-Deep Cool case fans have no solid color RGB options for some stupid reason. I settled for a white breathing pattern.
-Cable Management on the back is okay if you don't want to add an HDD, most of the cable length is shoved in to the bracket bank for HDD and leaves no space.
-CPU cooler tubes block one of the DIMM slots, would have to re-orient it them to add more sticks.
Overall Review: I, like most people at the moment, have been hunting for a good deal on a new GPU and to my dismay, thanks to scalper scum and crypto losers, the price for a 3070 has stayed consistently around the $2000 point. Finally, I gave in and decided to buy my RTX 3070 from the fine folks at ABS, who apparently decided to ship me my shiny new card in an entire equivalently spec'd gaming PC. Now I'm not one to judge but that's a pretty weird option for packing materials in my personal opinion, I'd have just gone with cardboard and lots of styrofoam myself.
But I digress, the PC arrived on-time with no fuss, was neatly packed and had no dings anywhere, I was able to add my existing SSD with all my stuff on it in under a minute, I got it all plugged in and turned on and it booted with no issues, I signed in with my microsoft account and everything was nicely activated with no problem, and I was in-game testing out my new power house all within the span of 20 minutes from the moment I opened the box.
If you're looking to get yourself an upgraded machine to future proof while the component market (hopefully) stabilizes and people can actually buy GPUs again, you're not going to do too much better than this. As I said above, you're essentially getting an entire high end PC for the price of just the GPU, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I do a lot of intensive and fast-paced gaming and it handles everything I throw at it without any complaints, and the sleek build and light show are the centerpiece of my room.
Pros: Assembled and shipped very well.
Very fast gpu and cpu
Cons: Graphics card power cords were wrapped over the AIO tubes but that was a simple fix
Fans do not have any type of rgb control
Overall Review: Great Machine
