Comments: Recommended for a basic PC. I purchased one ABS box last month for my father-in-law, and was so impressed with the components inside that I purchesed a second for my home office PC. All top shelf components were installed, products and brands I buy when building a new system. Also, the thing is QUIET. The free LCD isn't fancy, but there were no dead pixels and the color/resolution is very nice. Remember you will have to load all the apps for productivity, such as office, as well as antivirus/antispyware.

Comments: I bough this computer for my mom, because she really needed a new computer. The computer itself is very nice, the case is large, it doesn't overheat, it looks great, and runs really well. Its not a super gaming system, but it has room for upgrading in the future. In addition the free monitor is a heck of a good bargin. All and all, great bargin. As usual newegg shipped quickly, they have yet to dissapoint me.

Comments: If your looking to build a PC, but cant quite find what you want, this is acctually a nice stating point, but only because of the monitor. The System is easy to upgrade, and the parts are fairly good in the compatability dept. so adding extra optical drives and hard drives is as easy as it should be (unlike some other name-brand PCs). Processor and RAM upgrades are also possible, and while it lacks decent graphics power, you can get a decent graphics board for less then the price that you would pay for the monitor. The monitor is not stellar, but it is in essance free, so it's worth it to alot of people. There is smearing, but no more then most LCDs (and much less then others in it's price-range). This system is remarkably quiet for a manufactured PC, while it may not be silent, it could be used as a decent Media Center if thats where you want to take it in that direction(allthough the case isn't really that small, the motherboard and componants will transfer to a nice media-center case with ease). As-Is the system lacks alot for some, while 80gb is a good size, and is comprable to similerly priced PCs, it feels small for a (and i say this if only because of ABS's great reputation for building proformance PCs) gaming rig. 1/2 gig of RAM is adequate for entry level gaming and just about everything else. Graphics ok for general gaming (just dont expect alot with more intense games) If this were a "normal" Manufactured PC i would give it a 2 or 3, but because of it's compatability and upgradability (along with ABSs reputation for bieng a solid product) i have to give it a 4. Overclockers might want to steer clear of this rig, while the processor is a decent overclocker, the RAM isnt exactly high quality, i'd advise a RAM upgrade or just building your own rig.

Comments: Its costs more than if you chose the exact same parts and build yourself, BUT it does cost about 100$ more if get the moniter if you build it yourself. BUT the moniter isnt ideal for playing games. If your a gamer dont get this unless your playing older games or dont mind playing games at their lowest settings. Then again if your a gamer your most likey in the videocard section. It does provide exellent performance in every day tasks though and it has a PCI-Express x16 slot and has lots of room for upgrading.

Comments: This was the best computer buying experience I've ever had. I've built numerous systems for family and friends, but never again. I bought this system for my girlfriend's parents and set up was ridiculously easy. I pulled it out of the box, connected the monitor, mouse, keyboard and then plugged it in and voila! As usual Newegg Rocks ! I only buy computer parts and electronics from Newegg, and only Newegg, thanks!

Comments: Purchased this for my Mom, who really needed a new computer. She doesn't do much more than email and some Geneology stuff but her 6YO HP had been giving her problems for a while and I was getting tired of fixing it all the time. I received this machine from NewEgg in 2 days via Fed-X. It was packed very well and I had it installed and on the Internet in less than 30 minutes. I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a mouse & keyboard but that's not a big deal considering what you get for the price. It comes with WinXP HomeSP2 installed and setup was a breeze. I was especially impressed with how fast this machine is - it screams! Now I'm jealous because my Mom has a faster computer than I have. Looks like I'll have to scrape together some dough for an upgrade. Thanks NewEgg - you folks ROCK!!

Comments: I received my computer 2 days after I ordered it. It is working flawlessly. The only problem was the free monitor that came with it. It had a big scratch on ther screen which is rather obvious and unpleasing to the eye. Also beware that the computer does not have a floppy so if you want one you'll have to buy one separately (not a big deal though). I've installed my usual programs and have not had any problems. Connecting to the net was plug and play. I have even played a couple of games and they play fine (with the resolution turned down of course). If you just want to surf the net, do word processing, burn Cd's/DVD's, and play the occassional game, then this system is for you.
