Great low-priced entry into Chrome OS3/8/2017 8:07:12 AM
Pros: This "recertified" computer looks and feels brand new! There's no indication that it's ever been used. It came out of the box booted up and ready to add a user & with a half-charged battery (the fully charged battery really does last 7-10 hours). I even managed to get the free 100G space on Google Drive that came with it, which is worth US $50. It's pretty fast for its hardware! Once one puts it into "developer" mode and tinkers a bit, it becomes a pretty powerful addition to one's LAN.
It delivers a crisp 720p via HDMI to my 50" tv in "clamshell" mode (lid closed) without a glitch. The 1080p is pretty good too, but tears a bit.
Cons: Chrome OS is badly documented; the onboard help files tend to go 'round in circles, so it's not for your grandma to play with. Any rate, Chrome OS is essentially an OS running in a browser; there are some very good standalone apps available, but there are a lot more browser extensions.
Overall Review: I'm tempted to buy another one, so I'd certainly recommend it to others. It's a very nice, and small and very very cute li'l thing to take to the coffee shop or the library: it draws second looks.
Pros: looked brand new. no marks what so ever. everythintg worked. half price becasuse it was reburbished
Cons: none at all
Overall Review: i got this for my girl friend and she loves it. we use it to stream movies to our bigger tv. it even plays with it closed up. such an awesome deal.
Pros: Super-low price, thin and light, bright sharp screen, quiet, good battery life, comfortable keyboard, responsive touch pad, decent build quality, fast/powerful enough for most routine tasks, rapid boot and near instant wake-up on lid-opening. It was sold as refurb/recertified-- but looks new to me. And did I mention a super-low price?
Cons: Was surprised it lacks an ethernet port. It never occurred to me that a computer this thin has no room for one. While the light grey letters on black key caps are stylish, they're hard to read in low light situations. I was going to ding my rating one egg for that-- but what the hey, it's Christmas!
Overall Review: Would recommend to others and purchase again.

Pros: i just needed something for my dad to use to do basic internet tasks. (web surf, email, facebook, etc.) this was his first time using the web and this chromebook was pretty easy for him to learn to use. it has worked very well with no problems and i got it for a great price. this was perfect for what i needed.
Cons: so far with three months use, no cons
Overall Review: refurbished but it looked and worked like new. i would recommend if you are looking for a simple internet machine.

Awesome so far11/5/2016 11:24:23 PM
Pros: Lightweight, easy to use and navigate, thin, nice design, customizable
Cons: No cons.
Overall Review: As a student and a pc user, I'm used to Windows programs like Office and Word. However, chrome has add on for those things. I've only had it a week, but I love it so far. No complaints. Great price too.

Great for studenta12/11/2016 4:42:15 PM
Pros: -Very lightweight
-Fast boot
-Good quality screen
-Fast wifi that works where other devices won't
-Sturdy build
-Can be placed in any desk
-9 hours of battery life
Cons: -Slightly slower than a core i5
-A little bit too small for my tastes
-The touchpad is average in comparisson to my acer e5 laptop which has a macbook quality touchpad
Overall Review: I bought this little thing because I don't want to carry my laptop with me all the time and because my laptop battery was not sufficient for my needs. If you are a student give these things a try. Although if I could I would go for 13 or 14 inch.
Sucks, came broken, and unable to charge9/23/2017 12:33:32 PM
Pros: No pros. The machine didn't charge or turn on upon receiving it.
Cons: See Pros.
Overall Review: Stop buying stuff online. It's a waste of time. Nothing that you buy even works.
