Pros: Since the Antec Three Hundred has a 140mm fan on top this is a great replacement. The included Antec Tri-Cool fans are very noisy when compared to this fan. This fan moves about as much as the Tri-Cool on med, but is almost dead silent. I found that rubber washers did make it dead silent. One of the better cooling options for this case. It is also thinner than the orginal Tri-Cool fan so larger CPU fansinks have a bit more clearance with this fan.
Cons: While the 140mm fan fits in place of the 140mm fan mount on the Antec Three Hundred, the screw holes dont match up. This fan was meant to the installed in a 120mm slot (I know that sounds odd, but thats the case here) so you have to force start the screws for any 140mm fan slot. Then again, 140mm fan slots are pretty rare so I dont know if this is reall a con or not. You decide. The fan blades are very delicate, so be careful with them. Also, no natural ability to trun off LED's. I had to cut a wire running to each LED to disable them. Dont cut both as they are wired in series to the fan motor and it will kill the fan. Just one wire per LED.
Overall Review: The option of a non LED version of the fan would be nice. The 140mm to 120mm adaptor looks a bit on the thick side of things and may prevent installing in some cases. I didnt use it as it was a direct replacement for another 140mm fan. Side note here. Most fans need to be designed for upside down use or the bearings may wear out way to fast. This fan simply may not make it long term in the manner I'm using it, but it's been a real champ the past couple of months and will be worht another one if I need ot replace it after a year or more. Again, a must have for Antec Three Hundred case owners. Dont forget some rubber washers which you can find at your local hardware store for a few cents at most. Hope this review helps somebody.
