Alphacool Eisbecher Aurora D5 Acetal/Glass - 250mm incl. Alphacool VPP Apex D5 Reservoir, G1/4, 250 mm, Borosilicate Glass (13326)

The Alphacool Eisbecher Aurora D5 Acetal/Glass - 250mm incl. Alphacool VPP Apex D5 is a 250mm glass tube reservoir with an integrated pump top for powerful D5 pumps, and it comes with a VPP Apex pump. It holds 360 ml and measures 242 x 77 x 77 mm. The same reservoir without a pump is the Eisbecher Aurora D5 250mm, and the shorter one with pump is the 150mm with VPP Apex.

Properties

• Pump: VPP Apex included, 2500 - 4500 RPM
• Capacity: 360 ml
• Ports: 5x G1/4 inner thread (1x IN, 4x OUT)
• Size (L x W x H): 242 x 77 x 77 mm
• Maximum flow rate: 340 l/h
• Lighting: 12 digital aRGB LEDs, 5V

Glass and acetal

The tube of the reservoir is made of glass, the D5/VPP pump top and the lid of acetal. Alphacool says the combination of these two materials gives the expansion tank a magnificent appearance. In its words the wow effect is provided by the 12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs in the pump top and by the Lighttower water effect inside the glass tube.

What the loop needs

The pump is in the box, so the loop still needs fittings for the G1/4 ports, tube and coolant, plus a SATA plug from the power supply and a 4-pin PWM header.

Notes

• Note on application: please use the reservoir only in conjunction with clear, transparent water cooling fluids. Alphacool warns that the particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water cooling products such as radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses. This can result in voiding the manufacturer's warranty as well.
