Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Terminal Flat Straight - Acetal (12987)

The Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Terminal Flat Straight - Acetal is a replacement terminal for Alphacool GPU water blocks that turns the two G1/4 threads to a horizontal orientation. It fits all Eisblock Aurora coolers and all Core coolers of the RTX 5XXX and AMD RX 9XXX series. It is not compatible with the Core coolers of the RTX 4XXX and RX 7XXX series.

Horizontal instead of vertical

The conventional, classic orientation of the connection options on the Eisblock Aurora graphics card water coolers is vertical. If you prefer them horizontal, you can now realize that with this flat terminal, made of acetal. The Eisblock GPX Aurora coolers for Geforce and Radeon graphics cards are among the blocks it is compatible with. At only 19 mm wide, it nestles closely to the water cooler. Its two ports are far enough apart to allow the use of connectors with a total diameter of up to 28 mm without collision.

Mounting

The mounting is simple. The two o-rings are simply put into the respective groove on the side of the terminal. The terminal is then placed on the side of the graphics card cooler and screwed into place with the three screws. The conversion can easily be done by anyone in a few minutes. The three screws and the two O-rings are supplied; tools are not listed as part of the delivery. Alphacool's note: please follow the manual for the correct flow direction of the water.

What the loop needs

Both threads are used, each with a compression fitting for your tube size, which is not in the box. To be on the safe side, we recommend a pressure tester on the reassembled block to ensure a leak free watercooling experience, such as the Alphacool Leak Testing Tool (Item number: 17482).

Notes

• Alphacool asks that the terminal be used only with clear transparent water cooling fluids. It warns that the particles and additives in Pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage radiators, pumps, coolers and hoses, and that this can void the manufacturer's warranty.
