will this work even though i have another gpu?

it should. i ran a workstation card + a 'gaming' card at one point. you just cant have solidworks realview on the monitors (if any) that are plugged into the gaming card... yes sw is irritating enough to track which monitor runs on which driver. games would need to be played on the monitor hooked up to the gaming card. SLI seems far fetched
