Pros: Overclocks EASILY! Running stable at 2.8GHz (311x9), 1.6vcore. Works very well with my Patriot 1GB RAM, 2-3-3-5-1T @ 2.7v. Stays VERY cool. I have a Thermalright XP-90c and the processor 27c-idle, full load-47c, all while its overclocked to 2.8GHz.

Cons: Still can't compute the value of pie down to the last digit... j/k Seriously... It would be great if AMD's 939 processors supported DDR2, but they don't.

Overall Review: Even Intel's own can't beet the performance this processor with the equally priced Pentium 4.

Pros: Overclocks like crazy, 2.7ghz and it didn't break a sweat. Low voltages, low temps, great processor.

Cons: None.

Pros: Excellent speed, stays cool (beats the heck out of it's main competitor's newest CPUs in this regard), and best of all, it's on-die memory cache makes data transfer much quicker!

Cons: Heatsink was somewhat of a pain to put on, but at least I know it's going to stay secured to the mobo :)

Overall Review: Wow, this thing is _built_ like a beast. I tried installing it without unlocking the socket (I forgot about it >_>), and let me tell you putting the heatsink was a real, real pain and I can only imagine how much pressure was put on the cpu. Luckily not a single pin was bent and the cpu works flawlessly! Good job AMD

Pros: I was wrong before when I said I could only get this CPU up to 2.4ghz. I am now running perfectly stable at 2.7ghz. Running on the DFI LanParty nF4 Ultra-D, and cooled with a Vantec Tornado 80mm mounted on the ThermalRight XP-90.

Cons: None now.

Pros: I bought this very same processor early august last year from Newegg. It still is an incredible performer and great overclocker. For 8 months now I have been using stock HSF and have to this moment a 10% overclock on it, right from the box. So, on stock HSF and overclocked I still never peak over 40c under load, it stays at 32-33c idle. If you're looking for a budget single core AMD processor, here it is.

Overall Review: The fact that this is a Skt 939 processor makes it your best budget option. It well out-performs its price. And even though the FX-60 marks the end of new 939 processors you have a bunch of upgrade options up to the 4000+ 64 single core, up to the 4800+ X2 series(dual-core), and the FX series up the FX-60(also dual core, but only the 60). Smart buy.

Pros: Great For games....I went from a P4 2.66 Socket 478 Processer to this...My FPS almost Tripled in games like Doom 3 and CS:S. Venice core also owns, it runs much cooler than the other cores.

Overall Review: If you're looking to build a budget-gamers system, look no further than this processor. I coupled mine with a Shuttle SN95G5V3...

Pros: Runs cool (right now 25C with games 30C)and fast, slid right in and the HSF snapped in tight. Newegg held their end with shipping as well as always.

Overall Review: bought this a week or so ago slid it in turned it on and was impressed; big diff from my intel P4 3.0 Prescott.
