Pros: - Runs relatively cool (even with stock heatsink) - At full load (100% @ 3.1Ghz using Prime95 it reaches 53 degrees max), it idles at around 30. - Heatsink fan is quiet - Low power consumption - 6mb L3 Cache - Quad Core - Easily overclocked with most boards (ramped mine up to 3.1ghz by adjusting the FSB - since this is a locked CPU) , but in all honesty unless you're running an extremely demanding program, you won't need the extra speed. I game and the CPU rarely exceeds 40-50%
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: The stock heatsink did seem fairly weak. It's a series of metal fins with an attached fan. No heatpipes - so for those who are into serious overclocking, you will definitely need an aftermarket fan. Also the thermal paste/pad on it didn't inspire much confidence, so I went ahead and used some AS 5.
