Pros: I've had the 1920X build done for about a week now and it has worked just as expected making Premiere Pro and AE renders much faster than my previous computer with an older i7 processor.
Cons: I am still having problems with lumetri color but suspect it is an Adobe problem not the processor.
Overall Review: Yes, I would recommend to others.
Pros: Lots of threads and fast enough. Handles everything throw at it so far. Easy to OC.
Cons: Can get hot, make sure you can cool it properly
Pros: Good performance, 12 cores/24 threads, 64 pci-e lanes, reasonable price.
Cons: Runs warm, high memory latency (Threadrippers are know for this), no included cooler.
Overall Review:
Liquid cooling a must. Installing this CPU isn't at all difficult if you pay attention to the sequence to tighten the screws. Watch a video online to familiarize yourself with the procedure. Use a higher capacity power supply than you think you will need. I wasn't able to give this cpu five eggs because of the high memory latency.
Threadripper 1920X
MSI X399 Carbon Gaming Pro
CORSAIR Vengeance RGB DRAM 32GB
Samsung 970 Pro 512GB SSD M.2
EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G1+ p.s.
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080ti SC Black Edition Gaming
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 SC
ThermalTake The Tower 900 case (modded for AIO cooling)
NZXT Kraken x72 AIO
Pros: This processor is extremely fast. I used this in a PC build for a friend and It booted just fine no problems setting up anything OC it to 3.9 Ghz with no problems
Cons: NONE
Overall Review: you won't go wrong if you buy this.
Pros:
-Picked this up for $689 while it was on sale. That is a whole lot of processor for $689
-Currently using it to host 3 gaming VMs for my WoW guildies during LAN nights
-Overclockable. Chip doesn't hit boost frequencies in a VM environment FYI
-Kept me from having to buy another expensive intel chip!
-Soldered IHS
-PCIe lanes for all!
-Works wonderfully with my Zenith Extreme board
Cons: -NONE
Pros:
+ Every 8 or so years I make a platform upgrade, and this thing looked BIG and fast so I went for it.
+ I use my desktop for all kinds of stuff and I want a platform that i will not have to upgrade from for another 8 or so years.
+ This cpu is Amazing and i think ill love this platform.
+ With my mobo it is set to 4.0 with no sweat. I have a custom loop so temps are around 23c under hours of running game
servers and other work loads.
Cons:
- price was a bit more than i wanted to spend, but If i was unwilling to pay it then i would not have gotten it.
- Some games and old applications just don't work on this cpu. most applications do work and i have half a dozen other computers to run old games on and such on, but it would have been nice if the cpu ran all applications.
Overall Review: = this is my first AMD cpu since 2002. They have been rubbish for a long time and its refreshing to want to get, and then own and love a cpu not from Intel.
Pros: Excellent bang for the buck!
Cons: NONE!
Overall Review: Highly recommend!

Pros: Pros top of the line CPU. I'm a do it yourselfer not a techie ok but, with that if you want something to do video editing, gaming, music, and whatever you can through at it at one time this it is a very good investment if this is in your budget range. I consider myself to be very low end enthusiast at best. Yes I am Saying that I am not going to overclock anything till I get some water cooling for this rig. But truthfully I have no need to even with everything I can through at it. Utilization hasn't been above 70 percent at anytime and I think it was only when I was forcing it. I like to stream, stream snipe, game, and run music without a hiccup. If I decide not to overclock this computer its performance could always meet my standards. No need for a grain of salt.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I have only had this for 2 weeks, Asrock Phantom gaming 6 MB, Hyperx memory 3000mhz 64gbs, Gigabyte Windforce RTX 2070, Corsair 1000i PS, and 2 WD NVME Drives in raid 0. Low end enthusiast setup. No Lag I would be concerned about or really notice.
