Pros: Great power supply, plenty of cables, runs a pair of 8800 GTX's no problem.

Cons: SHUT UP KIDS, please quit blaming the power portion of this psu. This has plenty of power to run eight 8800gtx's. As ANTEC said, there is a firmware issue with Nvidias drivers that brings up the "insufficient power" message. Relax, your psu is fine.

Pros: Lets face it the egg rocks! Newegg is the best computer parts company in the world bar none! This power supply is one the best deals out there and its no coincidence that newegg sells so many. I have used the 850 and the 1000 for around a year and it has become my favorite power supply,sure if you got $400 there are some nice units but this is the best at its price. Antec is legendary, i have seen there 550 triple rail run hot sli systems with dual and quad cores overlocked. This power supply has never failed us, at WSZ a micro computer builder we get these in newegg combo deals and they are great! Quiet, nice cables, all and all just a very good psu. We used to use almost all SS psu's but with the antec 900 and antec 1200 deals you can not pass on this! With the antec 900 or 1200 the strait through air flow is a major plus, no items can fall in the psu nor is the psu cut off from air if you flip those non-strait through.

Cons: I have heard about some issues but i have never had one problem with the power supply and you get antec rebates!

Overall Review: We used a 850w on quad crossfire, dual 3870x2's with a physics card, shoe horned into an antec 900 case - running a x38 asus mobo with ddr3. We shipped that last spring. 3Dmark06 was 24,000+ A great substitute for those $300 units, for half!

Pros: Very stable power. Only needed 3 of the rails, but it leaves me open for future expansion.

Cons: First unit died within a month. No voltage across all rails, just 5VSB and PWON#3.77. Have RMA in works.

Overall Review: Unit seems larger than most. Barely fit in my Antec P180. Bonus is, has long cables, reached from bottom of case to mobo headers on top. Very versatile.

Pros: Power supply is great! Powers everything with no problem! My system consist of an Asus p5b-plus,8800gts,two western digital 320 gig drives,two sony dvd burners,2gigs of Patriot DDR3 1333,floppy drive card reader,Zerotherm BTF90, and 5 fans with no problem..Also, the heart...Intel core duo E6750...Rock solid!!

Cons: None what so ever!!

Overall Review: Future upgadeability with this power supply!!!!

Overall Review: all in all a great p.s.u looks nice with the yellow racing stripes a must have for power hungry machines or any one who has had a p.s.u to fail them im sure you wont be sorry for this purchase . i know i am not .

Pros: The PSU worked just great for ~3 years, I had no issues during that time.

Cons: Failed at around the 3 year mark. It was covered under the 5 year warranty, but since this model wasn't no longer in Production, they wanted to replace it with an HCG-900. That's not modular, and not the same PSU product-line, but it would do the job. Except they sent me back the wrong product! In the box was an HCG-520. All the product documentation was for a HCG-900, only the PSU itself was an HCG-520. Antec refuses to believe me that they sent me the wrong product, and their support team has been very effective at stonewalling my efforts to get the issue resolved and speak to a supervisor (so this must happen often) claiming that the item weighed the proper amount at time of shipment (although when I shipped it back, it didn't weight the same as what they said it did). They've been unable to provide me with the name of the person who weighed the item or the serial number of the item they sent me. My cooperation and understanding of their mistake didn't get me anywhere.

Overall Review: Altogether very dissatisfied with Antec customer support for RMAs. Antec is 0 for 1 in my book for RMAs, 0%. I build my own computers and this was the only Antec component I had in my one machine. I have no intention of buying another Antec product ever again after that very negative experience - now I need to buy another 850w+ PSU out-of-pocket.

Pros: Fantastic modular design, sweet paint job, does the job.

Cons: Has started failing, with an absurdly annoying electrical buzzing sound coming from the unit that will not go away. Going to RMA the unit.
