Good Solid Case - Perfect for my use case.

Pros: I really liked the minimalist design of this case, and the mixture of aluminum and glass is very well done in my opinion. This was my first mATX build, so everything is smaller, and tighter, but this case has plenty of openings, grommets, and cable management options resulting in a very clean build.

Cons: No reset button on control panel - I added and mounted one inside the right side glass panel which was an easy work around.
Stock fans were 3PIN, I wanted PWM so needed to replace those with Phantek MAGLEV fans.

Other Thoughts: All in All I am very happy in how this turned out. As others stated their are only magnets holding the glass panels closed, so if you plan on moving this around allot maybe the ATX version is best as it has screws to secure the glass doors. I preferred the ease to open the case as needed, and its not moving much in my situation. I went all SSD, all MAGLEV fans, and most everything has a zero RPM mode; this resulted in a super fast, and completely silent PC, which was my overall goal.

Great Case, some flaws

Pros: Great water cooling options
Clean

Cons: Top ventilation(almost none)
LED's (only green and blue, no reds)
Not a lot of storage space

Other Thoughts: I used this case for my first custom loop. It's an awesome case, with a few flaws. I gave it 3 eggs, cause it makes it sort of average. I still love it, but it might bother other people. There's only 4 places for storage, if you take out the HDD trays for say...a pump? You're down to 2, unless your mobo has M.2. I also wish the cable management lanes were a little better on the sides. its a micro atx case, and there is space along the back edges, but theres no straps, no strap mounts, and no grove to run them along the side like that and down. It can make the other lanes bulky. It is a very pretty case. I have an Aorus mobo, and card that pick up all colors, the case and the phanteks light strip dont. not with my setup

Pretty great case

Pros: I love the tempered glass. Easy cable management. Seems to be well-engineered. Excellent paper manual. Sooo much better than other manuals of different cases. No if I could only find it, since I lost it!. I like to have it in front of me instead of having to read on-line. People actually thought about this before designing it. Love how one of the side panels comes off without unscrewing the hinge attached to the case.

Cons: Wish it came with pwm case fans. The back side panel doesn't come off without unscrewing from the hinges from the case side. Kind of a pain. Just wish that side worked the front side but it does not.

It's a little bit pricey for a case, but I think it's worth it.

Other Thoughts: I'd definitely recommend this case. Just wish both of the side panels came off the same way. Update: I talked to customer support and they are shipping me new hinges to try on the side that doesn't work correctly. Great customer support!

Great build quality

Pros: - the build quality on this was the best i had seen from the years of building custom PCs
- Good watercooling support.
- includes nice cable management features.
- easy to remove side pannels

Cons: - my only con about this case is putting the side panel back on is a little frustrating some times. the ease of taking it off makes up for it though.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this case for anybody looking to do a mATX build. I used this case to do a mATX water cooled build. I put an alphacool xt45 240 radiator up front and an xt45 280 radiator up top to cool a i7-8700k and 1070ti. it was a little tricky to get everything in there but that was to be expected doing a mATX build.

I have read some complaints about the bigger version of this having airflow problems when water cooling. I have not experienced any issues with my temps. I overclocked the CPU to 5GHz and the GPU to 1800MHz. CPU temps stay in the 50s and GPU temps in the 40s while gaming.

Great matx case!

Pros: this case is low-key pretty irl.

Cons: it does not come with the led sync (aura/mystic) cable! i purchased that separately after finding it on newegg. for the price of this case, i think a 5 dollar cable, which is part of its selling strategy, should have been included.

Other Thoughts: after receiving my led sync cable, i appreciate the lighting around the power button. i can monitor the temps simply this way (although the asus aura temp/color monitoring leaves much to be desired)

Really gorgeous matx case for a small gaming rig.... but one flaw.

Pros: I love the metal design, really sturdy, the swivel doors make it real easy to get in and swap parts. It has awesome external and internal RGB lighting via LED strip, and an overall great case. Also be weary about your PSU, it has to be really short, as the HDD cage is right in front of the exiting cables and you will not have room to replug them. Now for that flaw...

Cons: There is no way to fully get the side panels secured to the case, they are held on by hinges at the back, but remain closed by weak magnets, I could not even close my right side one because the cables pushed it open, no matter how good I tied the cables and organized them, the magnets are just too weak, they should have made it so you can use a thumbscrew to fully secure it, then it would have been a 100% perfect case.

Other Thoughts: Would buy if they fix the side panel issue, just beware if you have thick cables and a lot of them you will not be able to close the panel, otherwise get the case, it can make any matx rig look sick.

Best case I have ever used.

Pros: This is by far the best case I have ever used. The cable management is so easy and makes it easy to show off your build. The tempered glass makes it feel more like furniture than a computer case in quality. I would suggest the phanteks light strips to put in the top.

Cons: The instructions are not really clear what to do when you have Asus Aura. But just hook up the RGB header (not the sata) then when the computer boots hold down the LED button for 5 seconds it'll turn off the internal controller. If you don't do this you'll get some weird colors.

Other Thoughts: I am already itching to do another build with this case.

Very high quality construction, disappointing 'improvements' over original

Pros: Excellent build quality with top notch finishes.
Included fans and filters are very good as well.
Easy disassembly / assembly and system building experience.

Cons: With a bit of an usual move, the water cooling specs are lacking. The use of dual 280mm radiators if very difficult, requiring some light cutting of the power supply chamber roof or use of radiators with extraordinarily short end tanks. The use of a radiator in the front position also will occlude a large portion of the removable PSU chamber panel and in turn, push up directly against the slotted water cooling pump mount area. pumps equipped with pump tops, at least the Alphacool VPP755 pump and eisdeck pump top combo are also too tall to use in conjunction with the included Phanteks pump bracket base, especially when giving clearance to the front radiator position.
The PSU chamber removable panel is also narrow, not allowing for all 120mm width radiators.
The top radiator support is quite adequate but the center position IO cabling and mounts extends over these areas, restricting the front area of the case for radiator / fan placement in terms of airflow as well as possible rad. port access.

Other Thoughts: Further dimensions given on the height of the PSU chamber, depth/width of the PSU chamber removable panel pass-through, radiator/fan combo thickness limitations and actual allowable lengths of each radiator type/position would have been very helpful. It's not like the information doesn't exist, why not present it?! It seemed like a lot of the fan / radiator issues from the original Evolv mATX were not rectified. I appreciate the 140mm based fan support in the front, allowing for a 280mm radiator, I'm just not sure why the removable PSU chamber panel / cutout doesn't allow for 140mm wide assemblies; I've cut that area of my case to allow for a radiator to extend into the PSU chamber and structural integrity doesn't seem affected in the slightest: no twisting, wobbling etc.
Maintaining the side IO for the case would really free up the top fan/radiator compatibility.

I've used many Phanteks cases for personal and customer builds and will continue to do so, I'm just a bit disappointed with the lack of dimensional information, especially considering that information was presented for the majority of the rest of the cases, even the previous Evolv mATX had much more robust clearance data.

It seems like a lot of carry-overs from the previous internal layout were kept while focusing mostly to the exterior of the steel chassis. A few easy moves could have made a great case fantastic.
