Pros: No curing Non conductive Noticeable improvement in temperatures with my i7-2600K @ 4.5 GHz over Artic Silver 5 roughly 5°F lower on load and about 1 °F on idle.

Overall Review: Also used this on my PS3 to help reduce the risk of it having another YLOD, which the lack of cure time really makes the difference here.

Pros: Easy to work with. Dropped temps about 8 degrees.

Cons: This is thick and was a little tougher to spread.

Overall Review: I am currently using a Powercolor HD6970 PCS+ gpu in my pc and i applied new thermal compound hoping to lower my temps under load by 3-5 C. I originally used Arctic Alumina by Arctic Silver and had dreadful results. My idle temps went from 38 C to 45C, and my load temps went from 75 ish to 100 C! I thought it must have been an error on my part (not enough or too much compound) so i cleaned the heatsink and the chip thoroughly and reapplied the arctic alumina. Nothing changed, super high temps that made me afraid to even play a YouTube video. I must have cleaned and reapplied the compound 6 times before i gave up. So i ordered this MX-4 and applied it and my idle temps went down to 35 C. Under load while running a stablility test with FurMark 1.8.2 and Heaven 2.5 my temps never went above 65 C! simply amazing performance. Absolutely worth the money. I never really thought there was that much of a difference in compounds but my eyes have been opened. Simply the best, buy it!

Pros: this is the best thermal compound you can buy. using this alone lowered my temps by 3 to 4 degrees. if you want the best you can buy this is it.

Cons: taste bad hard to get out of your tooth brush.
