Pros: The performance, appearance and build quality of this notebook is equal to any of the higher end business grade devices running Windows. The keyboard is great, as is the display quality. The touchpad is well sized and the touchscreen is responsive. The low weight and form factor feels expensive and solid yet user friendly. It feels like my $2000 Windows notebooks for less than half the price.
Cons: Windows Hello! with the IR camera is a very compelling feature simply not available in ChromeOS devices. The fingerprint reader in the power button works beautifully, but it's not the same. The web cam is only adequate, my best business notebooks with Windows have Full HD cameras. The screen is less bright than those FAR more expensive units, but the quality is still very good.
Overall Review: If you need a durable, high quality and high performance notebook for business or WFH use, and ChromeOS will work for you, this is an outstanding device. I changed my mind about ChromeOS being for real after using a high end HP i5 device from 2016 that was INCREDIBLY expensive. This ASUS is 2X as good for half the price.
