does this card have a back plate??

Yes, this card does have a plate on the back. It also has some fins to have some small airflow. It has a unique design, very pleasing in my opinion.

are these decent cards??

Yeah they work pretty well, i would personally recommend one that isn't 400 dollars given the fact that its the same price as the RTX 2060 Super but it works, (i got mine 50 bucks off so it was the same price as a normal RTX 2060)
