Pros: New G98 chipset with VC-1 decoding. Runs silent (obviously). Great for HTPC. Allowed my Athlon X2 3600+ system to play HD content smoothly that it struggled with before.

Cons: Playback was choppy under Vista Media Center (although perfectly smooth in Windows Media Player) with the latest NVIDIA WHQ drivers from December 2007. Needed to use the NVIDIA beta drivers from March 2008 to fix that issue.

Overall Review: Have not used with games, so I cannot comment on gaming performance. Heat during HD-DVD playback is minimal -- heatsink is touchable.

Pros: Easy Installation, Silent, Worked immediately. Driver install was very quick and painless. A very good card for price bracket.

Overall Review: I'm beginning to place my trust in ASUS. They seem to make quality components.

Pros: VERY efficient heat sink that does not obstruct the slots above or below it's assigned location, (105F @ idle, 125F MAX @ full load.) Excellent for a passively cooled card. Actually much better than the card it replaced which did eat up two slots. The included drivers work fine with WINXP PRO SP2. While not really a gaming card it can Handle "F.E.A.R. Platinum Edition" @ 45 FPS on medium settings without breaking a sweat for hours on end. In fact it's handled everything I've thrown at it so far without complaint and it's taking some of the load off of my CPU so it in turn runs cooler as well. I DO THINK IT'S GOOD!

Cons: For this price? None. If I get my $10.00 rebate, fine. If not, Who cares? It's still well worth $35.99. :)

Overall Review: Perfect for you "Silent Computer" Fanatics on a budget, Small airflow requirement, (It has to have SOME,) Or anyone else needing a low priced card with some reasonably good performance. This is a nice compliment to my ASUS M2V-MX SE Motherboard. I wish I had gone with this in the first place. My other card can sit there in it's box of shame as an emergency backup. ;)

Pros: The SPDIF pinout works (just use a CD ROM sound cable) and passes sound through my $6 DVI to HDMI connector to my Samsung 40 inch LCD. CUDA decoding works. Just download the latest K-light codec pack with Media Player Classic Cinema edition, or you can pay for Cyberlink's latest player. I have verified both working. I can stream a 19 GIG mkv over my network and only use about 3% of my CPU. Just incredible. CUDA encoding also works with BADABOOM's encoder...though only at 11 frames per second. I have verified 44 frames per second with a 9600GT.

Cons: Having some trouble getting the overscan corrected with NVIDIA's latest driver on VISTA 32 bit.

Overall Review: You can build a cheap HTPC with this card, VISTA media center is not as efficient decoding movies as my CPU does stay below 20%.

Pros: Plug and play no knowledge required to install. Prompt delivery and a solid product. Nice and cheap.

Overall Review: For the price it was a very good buy. Raised my areo score on vista from 3.0 to 4.6

Pros: Silent and more than powerful enough for my needs (programming and scientific 3-D data visualization). Drives two 22-inch displays with ease. No problems whatsoever with Ubuntu 8.04.

Cons: Can't think of any.

Overall Review: This card is a massive bargain at this price.

Pros: No fan. Massive heat sink. Seems to run pretty cool.

Cons: None experienced so far.

Overall Review: This is working as good or better than expected. No hiccups experienced under Debian GNU/Linux Lenny 5.0 using the proprietary nVidia driver. Not really bought to be a gaming card, though. It does seem to run 3D Linux games like Warzone 2100 and Flightgear just fine.

Pros: It works, and it's better than the on board graphics.

Cons: Really there's no cons.

Overall Review: If you are looking to replace your en7600gs then honestly it's not worth it. but on the bright side it will be good enough to play crysis at mid level frame rates. I don't know how long though.
