Pros: it plays my games ok, and it supports freesync, but these are nvidia's achievements.
Cons: Card's fan @ 100% when I turn the computer on...then they quite down. For ~2-4 seconds @ boot all you hear is the super loud F-18 taking off... NEIN, NEIN, NEIN!! Card sure runs hotter than my old RX480..no crashes yet (fingers crossed).
Overall Review: AS a test, I've tried booting from other devices, dvd, other ssds, no change. The F-18 taking off behaviour has no baring on which OS/device boots, what a shame.... This has definitely tarnished asus reputation with me, my fam and friends. I would definitely NOT be recommending this brand when it comes to video cards and maybe other products. IT is really a shame as I own some pretty awesome asus products... ahh, the tears, ASUS, you did me wrong...very wrong...
Pros: It has a backplate. It has DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort ports.
Cons: It's hard to see in the pictures because of the shroud and backplate, but the fans extend significantly beyond the edge of the circuit board. As a result, a lot of the air from the fans isn't directed at the headsink. (It isn't even directed at the card!) Result: the fans don't adequately cool the heatsink, since they don't actually blow on it. Online reviews for other entry-level 1660TI graphics cards show an average temperature under load of around 67°C. My average temperature with this card (in an air-conditioned room with good case ventilation) is 88°C at 100% fan speed. That's absurd.
Overall Review: Overall, I'm very disappointed with this version of the 1660 Ti. I was interested in a TUF card because I want my GPU to last a long time between upgrades, but this card runs way too hot to last as long as it should.
Pros: This is a good looking product. It seems to have an awful lot of headroom for OC. At 1080p this thing really shines.
Cons: Hot - really this thing is stupidly hot. Even without any tweaking this thing pegs itself at 90 degrees and stays there. When you apply a custom fan curve you'd better be ready for some fairly impressive noise - because boy howdy do those fans spin up high - and since the card never gets cool it stays pegged at 100% usage. It reminds me of a hair dryer running full blast when the fans are tuned all the way up.
Overall Review: Someone else mentioned a design flaw - I'm not sure about that necessarily; however, if I could return this card for a refund I would do so. I am only able to get it replaced. Don't waste your hard earned money on this card.
Pros: -When its not broken, the unit runs amazing -Fans keep the card cold
Cons: -3 units have broken Issues: 3D hanging Artifacting Precise Rendering and Shadow issues DDU and other driver utilities cannot fix.
Overall Review: I would not recommend this product at all. If you are looking to purchase a 1660ti, look elswhere
Pros: got it a discounted price vs msrp. runs quiet with reasonable temps.
Cons: none atm
Overall Review: i got a decent deal on it which made it more attractive than buying the next price of graphics cards.
Pros: Small size can fit into limited space.
Overall Review: This runs about 11 C hotter than my MSI 1660 Ti Armor OC in the same system and is louder. It doesn't perform as well either, but it was also $10 cheaper on sale.
