Pros: Cheap, relatively small so there was extra room in the case (I do have a big case though.
Cons: I never gamed on this card. NEVER! And yet, after just over a year of usage, this card started to fail. I'm getting the BSOD as soon as I try to open a program on my PC. Nvidia is not responding to calls for help. I think they abandoned support for this card.
Other Thoughts: I'm glad they discontinued this junk. I didn't buy it for gaming. I bought so I can get work done at home, with AutoCAD and Sketchup being the only thing that required any work from this card. Other than that, it was just browsing. It failed. I'm going back to getting a Radeon card. Those things have always lasted a few years. And that's all I really want now, a reliable card, no overclock, just straight up work all the time.
Pros: At first it worked great.
Cons: The fan stopped working after 10 months.
Other Thoughts: I would pass on this card. Pay the little extra and get something better.
Pros: Decent price for card specs. Does what I want it to do. HDMI port. No issues which to me is most important.
Cons: Seems to run a little warm and fan can be noisy.
Pros: Great Card Runs great had it for about 9 months now.
Cons: sometimes heats up a bit
Other Thoughts: I would get this card
Pros: Great chipset. Runs most games like World of Tanks just fine, 30+fps.
Cons: Fan, plain junk. Started loping the first night. Has gone steadily down hill from there. Not going to bother RMA'ing it. Cannot be without a gpu that LONG. Neweggs great, asus is usually great but they dropped the quality ball with these fans. Getting an aftermarket cooling solution. If you plan on buying this card, get one with it.
Pros:
For what I needed (PCI-E) this card is delivering nice performance and a significant upgrade from my stock card that shipped with the HP Pavilion desktop I bought 3 years ago.
Well packaged, high quality card, install went smoothly and under load the card has been performing well with OK fan noise at higher loads. Fit no problems in my desktop case (medium size I guess) - although you do want to make sure you have vertical clearance for the fan. Also I upgraded power supply to Corsair 600W from the stock 350W. That was a smooth upgrade.
Cons:
The big issue I found was that on first boot the card was found in Windows 8.1 (Pro x64); booted into low res mode, found the drivers and I was up and running at full definition.
When I rebooted I encountered a big issue: I would get past POST and logon screen would never appear. It would flicker occasionally on the lock screen icons and I could see only the mouse.
Did some investigation, apparently Windows will try to update drivers in the background and there is a conflict with installed vs. being installed drivers - an endless loop that prevents boot.
Per the threads online, I went into safe mode (low res), installed the latest drivers from Nvidia site then in Windows I made sure that Windows would not install drivers ever, automatically. That did the trick, no issues since.
Other Thoughts: It's a shame about the graphics issues as I would have been really positive on this card - it took me 90 mins to isolate and fix the issue on bootup. But since then it's been running well.
Pros: good performance when it worked
Cons: I had to rma the first one because of overheating. The second lasted just under a year and then it fried. Turned black and blue it got so hot. Luckily it didn't damage to anything else I'll see if they'll back it on warranty, but I'm tired of shipping costs.
Other Thoughts: Temps fluctuated a lot with second card with no changes to clock or task.
