Does this video card work with AMD processors?

yes, its not the processor that you need to worry about compatibility, its your motherboard, make sure it supports a pci express port. The card is backwards compatible so no need to worry about the version of pci express, but you will get more performance out of pcie 3.0.

Does this product come with the necessary cables to be able to use it if not what cables do I need to get (I am a first time builder)?

All it comes with is the card and the installation CD. Whatever monitor you want to use with it should come with a cable for that monitor, but if you need a different one, you'll have to buy one. You can find all 3 cable types for this card (VGA, DVI, HDMI) on newegg fairly cheaply if you need them. Like $3-$10 depending on what length you want them to be. Good luck!

It should be able to run with as low as a 300 watt power supply, according to the manufacturer.  Make sure you have two free 4-pin power connectors or a 6-pin PCI-E power connector.  I believe it came with the 6-pin adapter.

It says it's PCI-E 3.0. Is it also compatible with PCI-E 2.0? I'm assuming, Yes?? Thanks for the help in advance.

Yes. This card is backwards compatible with PCI-E 2.0. Most cards that are PCI-E 3.0 are backwards compatible like that... unless specifically noted, "NOT PCI-E 2.0 COMPATIBLE".

Is this video card backwards compatible with an older motherboard like, (1 x EVGA 123-YW-E175-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI FTW ATX Intel Motherboard)?

I have an EVGA 512-P3-N975-AR GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-Bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card that stopped working and need to replace it . I am open to suggestions or comparable video cards.

I have a circa mid-2011 Gigabyte GA-H67MA-USB3-B3 Motherboard. I replaced, I think exactly the same "GeForce 9800 GT 512MB" with this new card. Works like a champ for a cheaper priced card. I am hoping it will last me a couple more years. It allowed me to play Watch Dogs (Directx 11 required) with no problems when the 9800 GT just wouldn't hack it.

can it work with my 459 watt HP power supply and will it fit in my HP mid sized atx case? the computer is the HP ENVY h8-1450 Desktop PC if that helps

Should be fine.  I have a generic mid-sized ATX case and it fit fine.  As long as you have a PCI 3.0 slot available on your motherboard you should be fine.  It takes up 2 slots so you need to have an open slot next to your pci 3.0 slot.   I have a 450 watt power supply so you should be good there as well.  It requires an additional 6 pin power connector so make sure your power supply has that cable as well.

Can I run 2 monitors with this, and do I need to buy any connecting cables? This will be a replacement for OEM card.

You can run upto 3 monitors. You will need the video cables that go from TE card to the monitor, also you need to purchase the LP4 to 6pin cable to use this card, unless your power supply has a 6pin already on it.

Do I need a larger PSU to run this video card in my

I would say yes, a larger CPU would probably be in order.  Look at the power rating for your computer and that for the 750ti.  Add them up then go a little higher in wattage ratings on a new PSU.   They are very easy to change.  Disconnect the power first.

Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3R?  It as these expansion slots which I am pretty sure are all unused

Yes, it should fit. The PCI Express slots come in 1x, 4x, 8x, and 16x options. A PCIe 1x card will fit in anything bigger or the same size. The same goes for this card. I believe it is a PCIe 16x, but IF it is a PCIe 8x, then IT WILL STILL FIT IN THE PCIe 16x slot you have on your motherboard. You can always fit the smaller "x" into a bigger one, but not vice versa. I hope this makes sense, but in the end, it will fit.

P.S. I play Minecraft (plus a few other graphic heavy games) and it runs the games FLAWLESSLY. Even Arma 3 on Ultra video settings runs great!
