I am having issues with the drivers (as many others have had) that come with the card. Yet, I cannot find the correct drivers online. Can anyone link me to the correct ones? I feel as if this was a waste of money.

Please go to amd website and from there click drivers+support from top right corner and then click drivers and download center this will take you to the next page and please follow these step

Step1 desktop graphic
Step2 Radeon hd series
Step3 Radeon hd 7xxx series 
Step4 choose your windows version 7 or 8 whatever windows you r using
Step5 Display result 
It will take you to the download page where you will see version of the drivers so simply download the first one (version 13.12) which is the stable version,please don't get me wrong do not download beta version because it sometimes give error and other problem so after you finish download install it restart your PC and that's all I hope I answered your question thank you.

Will this fit a Asus M5a97X R2.0 motherboard? Will the motherboard have the connector for the power supply to this unit?

Hi!  Yes, this will fit your motherboard since your mobo has a PCIex16 slot.  If you're worried about dimensions (is it too long?) then you need to look at your case.  I would say this would fit any regular case and MATX cases too.

As to your second question, you need to check your power supply, not motherboard, to see if you have the connector.  Even if it doesn't, you can use a molex adapter to get you going.  Just search Newegg for "Molex to PCI express."

Will my 375W PSU support this?

I think so, but cannot tell for sure. The recommended is 500w, but I have a 450w and it runs fine. I'd say to just try it and return it if it doesn't. I'm sure it won't work if the load becomes too great for the card, then it may require more power.

Put it in pcpartpicker and see if there's any incompatibility issues.

I have two (2) DVI monitors, how and with what cables do I connect them to this video card?

MAKE SURE TO HAVE ALL SOFTWARE/FIRMWARE UP TO DATE!!! Personally, I used 1 hdmi and 1 DVI cord. (I was about 2 years behind on half of my stuff) But if you are using 2 DVI cords it is really straightforward as there are but 2 DVI ports on the card. You can configure them with the software they sent you, but I would highly suggest getting the latest version of that software online) If this doesn't help I am sorry, perhaps I didn't read/understand it correctly.

Your Intel BOXDP67BGB3 motherboard has 2 PCI Express 2.0 x 16 slots. As long as your power supply has PCI power connectors or you have a power adapter, apply power to the video card via the PCI power connector and load the drivers and you will be ready for action.

Not sure if you can run a 6850 and 7790 video card at the same time.

What drivers do I need to make this work properly?

I used nVidia GeForce Video cards for years.  I owned several of them, and I really liked them.  But I think my last one had some major problems, and I got video warnings constantly - - to the point where I finally decided to ditch it.

I figured that would be a good time to finally try an AMD Radeon Video Card (you know - - a Video Card from the "OTHER GUYS").  I did a little research to make sure I got a model that wouldn't leave me wishing "if only I'd spent just a little more, I'd be much happier."

This Radeon 7790 with 1GB of DDR5 Memory has filled the bill just fine.  It's been more than adequate to handle all my video needs.  I think the only reason you'd need much MORE than this is if you are a hardcore gamer (I'm older, and all I play is World of Warcraft, which doesn't have super-high video demands).

Somebody asked a question about the DRIVERS.  I can tell you - - I don't remember having a single problem with drivers.  I'm familiar with drivers and some of the problems that they can cause, and so I would say this:  If I don't remember anything about the drivers, that means that they installed smoothly and cleanly right off the Disk that was included with the Radeon Video Card, and I haven't had to fight with them in any way since.  The Card comes with all the drivers you need - - just run the installation routine from the Disk that's included in the box you receive with the Video Card.

I would recommend the Radeon 7790 to other users who have "normal-to-medium-high" graphics needs.

I have two (2) DVI monitors.  The back of this card has one (1) DVI-I and one (1) DVI-D plug.  Do I need to buy a cable splitter or do they sell separate cables for each type?  My monitors came with DVI-I cables.

No, the only difference is that one of the dvi ports will also connect to a vga monitor through an adapter with a simpler adapter.  Both will connect to a DVI monitor with no problem.

will this graphics card fit into a Asus Desktop PC CM1730 series?

The specs on the Asus model you listed indicate it has a PCI express 16x slot. This card is compatible with the slot. The case is a mid-tower so there should be no clearance issues unless your HDD sticks out but, you can move it. The only concern I would have is the power supply. You need to make sure you have a 6 pin PCIe molex connector availible. They make a 4 to 6 pin adapter but i would not recomend using the GPU tweak software to over-clock it. This is a fantastic card so if you have the proper power supply you will be very happy with it. A 600 watt would be recomended with SLI or Crossfire support would be good for it. I have an Asus M4A88T-M motherboard, it has PCIEX16 2.0 slot on it. I am aware of the backwards compatibility, but am wondering if the card will fit on the board? Thanks.

Hey Justin,
I don't have this MB, but did check out the specs and photos of it. This card only requires one slot on the board, but does require two openings at the back of the case. As long as your case has room, it should fit with no problem. This MB does have built in graphics, so you will probably need to disable that in the BIOS for this card to work properly. Also make sure your case has good ventilation/cooling, as this card can generate quite a bit of heat when in use. The fans on it cool the card well, but that heat is pumped right into the case.
This is an awesome card and I have never had a problem with it, even when I have it maxed out.

Will this video card work with asrock 990fx extreme3 mobo? Also is there any other parts that i need to know if it will be compatible with?

Trey, it's all a matter of checking the specs for both the video card and the mobo.  Looking at the card, it's a PCI Express 3.0 - and I admit it's not clear about the exact configuration. Looking at Wikipedia, you can get a visual of the different PCI-E configurations (just google it).

Looking at this photo, and looking at the card photo from Newegg, it's clear to me that we are dealing with a PCI-E x16.  And referring to the specs of your mobo (readily avail on their site), looks like you have three available slots. So - good to go.  As to other compatibility/parts issues, I seem to recall someone whining about the physical size being too large. It looks pretty standard to me...so unless you are trying to jam it into a mini-sized case, you should be ok.  Get with me on any other issues and good luck.
