Pros: Place in the PIKE slot on a ASUS RS700 barebone and it works. Setup a nice RAID 1E, with 4 drives in less than 5 min, with reading the options.
Cons: None, but there are drivers both on the LSI site and the ASUS support site so make sure to get the latest where available. It seems LSI has the latest.
Overall Review: It would be good if once the PIKE card is placed, the system does not show the LSI software raid. It can be confusing when you watch the system durring post. So carefully read instructions on when to press CTRL-C to get into the setup of this RAID contoler.
