I have the prime B450M-A with an AMD 
AMD RYZEN 5 3600 6-Core 3.6 GHz (4.2 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 .  I did not get a separate grahics card because I wanted to use the on board Graphics.  But I am getting a buzzard alarm that includes 1 long single and 3 short... which means there is a power issue with the graphics card...   the problem is that I did not put a graphic card on the system. I get no video at all from any of the onboard video.  I have tried to hold the delete key hoping to get to bios, but still no on board graphics.  how do I get onboard graphics working?

Hello, your CPU doesn't have integrated graphics, therefor those connections on the board will not output anything. only AMD xxxxG series got integrated graphics. For the 3600 you need to buy a dedicated graphics card

Apparently this motherboard has only 2 fan headers, is there a way to split those into more headers? The case i am getting(deepcool matrexx 55 add rgb) has 3 fans preinstalled on the front and if there is only 2 headers on the motherboard how will I be able to power the fans on the inside and the preinstalled ones on the front?

Go to Asus website, input the mobo model number and check the specifications for yourself. Looking at the memory tab it says max memory is 64GB so it ought to be fine.I tried to post a direct link but Newegg won't allow it.

Will the on board graphics work with the  mad 1700X 3.4 ?

The graphics are not on board but utilize the GPU in built into the G series AMD processors, such as the 2400G.  The 1700X does not have an on die GPU so you will need a video card.

Near the CPU fan header, there's an Asus 4-pin RGB header. Pin #1 is +12V for LED strips.

From what I have been hearing, the 450 series mobos will need a bios update to work with the 3 series. As I understand it, it will be different than the regular bios.

The AM4 mount is different, but some coolers have multiple attachment accessories included with them or available.  It would depend on your specific cooler.  Generally, no it would not fit unless your cooler includes mounting accessories for both sockets.

No onboard video. getting buzzer error saying no power to video card...  but no card.  How to use onboard video?

There's no built in GPU on the motherboard, you need to make sure you are using a processor with built in GPU. They are designated by a 'G' at the end of the model name (e.g. 3400G). If you are using the right type of processor, then try clearing the CMOS. There is a clear CMOS jumper you can use (see manual for location) or you can unplug the computer and remove the CMOS battery for 60 seconds to clear CMOS that way.
