Pros: (When I bought this board there were no reviews). M.2 Gen4 support with my 3600x. I swore the next computer I built would not have a sata
anything in it. 6yrs later, it's real. The m.2 gen4 is amazing. Of course I had to give up my windows 7 and jump on the 10 band wagon. This will take time to get use too. This is kinda a no thrills board to some people, but for the price verses the x570s and it has wifi to boot....just right. I'm coming off an AMD A10 build that's 6 yrs old. A10 you ask? Look it up. I was using an nvidia 970 with it and it was good to me all this time. I work up north, way north but not Alaska north, and I had to use usb wifi vs buying a card. The wifi on this board alone doubled what the usb crud gave me. I'm not going sli or xfire so the x570 was'nt needed.
The uefi or uife or whatever BIOS was a lot to take in at first, but thats my age creeping up on me. At first I thought, " whaaaat?" Then I calmed down and figured it out. A lot of down arrow until the mouse got up and running. This is the first board ever that wanted two mem sticks in the B slots. Glad I read that part. This has an extra fan header or rgb header next to the cpu cooler header and I've about had enough typing the word header. There two system fan headers (again?) in the middle of the board. Sound? It's in there. I don't need the vga or dvi ports........but someone must, It's a work station board. Oh, I updated the bios really easy before installing windows. Off an old usb 2.0 thumb drive no doubt.
Cons: As of now, none. Maybe one. If you can't put beer in the box at least put beer salt. Those are tiny.
Overall Review: N82E16820232091= the ram used in this build. MB had it 2600 so I bumped it up to 3200 and it o/c'd my cpu to 4.2. I don't need it that fast so I bumped it down to 2966 or something like that in order to get it to 3.8 since I'm using stock wraith cooler. Using a gen4 m.2 is precious. I remember the day when you started the windows download you had time to use the restroom, get a beer, meet your girlfriend in a dark corner of the house, cook dinner or run to the store. I just went to the bathroom and it was needing my input. And I was using an old usb 2.0 drive for installation. Wow. My girlfriend was looking inviting too *sigh* My build;

Pretty good board, but support is not contemporaneous...3/27/2021 1:29:49 PM
Pros: Good feature set for the Micro ATX format. Great Wifi (only used wifi 5 (my Starlink internet system that's on order comes with wifi 6 router} so we'll see how that works out. Integrated BlueTooth works great. The board also has PCI-E 4, for GPU and M.2 drive interface with lightning-fast speeds. Lots of 3.0+ USB ports. Decent amount of Fan headers, RGB headers. Audio console took a long time to figure out final settings and adjustments, but once done my old analog Logitech 5.1 speakers pump out a nice clean sound. It seems stable, no "Ryzen". USB issues (latest updated bios)
Cons: Comes with a very limited and ineffective manual, I have built a couple dozen computer over the years, but I found it lacking, someone inexperienced might have a lot of trouble. There is no real help for bios settings, like which header for CPU radiator and pump? (FYI the CPU opt. is the Fan, CPU Fan is the pump.) The BIOS is not good. The easy mode is nothing more than basically an info page. The "advanced" is sophomoric at best. Limited in options and details, not intuitive or helpful for O'clocking to a Ryzen noobie like me. The Latest BIOS update (I wanted to avoid the USB issues and bugs widely reported on Ryzen 5 builds) bricked some features it seems. The Armory Crate application now doesn't recognize or "support" RGB accessories with AURA as advertised likely due to the fact that there are compatability lags with BIOS to appliction updates. I had a hard time putting features back like Audio Console, etc. rolling back some drivers so they would work. (Antec 4 Pin RGB fans) and GSKILL Trident Z RGB Memory. I also can't control my MSI Water CPU Cooler RGB thru the RGB header as it doesn't recognize it. Let's sum the BIOS up in a word. "Underwhelming". Also, 1Gbit ethernet vs. 2.5 on most competitive boards seems a bit short-sighted and frugal to me?
Overall Review: I would recommend it on anyone's short-list for a micro-atx build. Especially if you are not inclined to do overclocking, or just a limited o'clock at best. I think it has a good feature set, especially at the price-point, which attracted me over competing brands, but knowing the BIOS as it is, and my experience on my past few builds using M dragon boards, I would look them over before buying this one if you are into advanced settings/tuning setups, which would likely be a full ATX board anyway. I wanted the great features this offered in a smaller package though. My Build: ASUS PRIME B550M-A (WI-FI) - AMD Ryzen 5-3600- 16 GB DDR4 GSkill TridentZ 3200 RGB- MSI 240MM Water CPU Cooler- 1TB Sabrent M.2 pci-E 4.0 Rocket drive -1Corsair Crystal 280X Micro-ATX case (a fabulous Micro ATX case for this Mobo and Micro Build) - MSI GTX 1660ti Gaming X GPU
PPP, price, performance, power!6/7/2021 7:14:58 AM
Pros: BIOS updated out of the box to support 4th generation Ryzen CPUs.
2 M.2 slots without sacrificing sata ports.
Built-in AX WiFi.
PCI Express 16 version 4.
Etc
Cons: Only 4 sata ports but using the m.2 slots does not disable any of the sata ports so compared to the fullsize atx motherboard with 6 SATA ports two of which are disabled if you use the m.2 port connected to the chip set it is a wash.
Overall Review: Great Mobo for the money, delivery quickly and for free.
Great Motherboard with really good features5/15/2021 3:18:52 PM
Pros: This MB has really good WIFI included. I built this machine to stream events at the high school that I work at. This board is great! The micro ATX Board has more than enough connections for my pcie streaming card, an Nvidia GPU (not a new one obviously, I am not an oil baron), and plenty of usb 3.0 for anything I need to connect. Originally I had this connected to an AMD 3400G without a GPU, and it worked pretty well. I lucked into a 5600x and upgraded. My streaming setup is light and powerful thanks to this board (As a heads-up, I think I had to drop my 3400 back in to update the bios before this board would work with the 5600).
Cons: None really. This board does everything it has been asked to do. I don't really care for the shark fin WIFI tower (I replaced it with a couple of high grade router antennas that I had sitting around). To be fair, the WIFI tower made good connections, but this PC is constantly on the move and the shark fin tower is top heavy and falls over all the time (if you are planting this thing and never moving it, you will probably never have this issue).
Overall Review: This is a great board. It works as it is supposed to, has updated bios for dealing with fast and low latency ram. Overall I would recommend this board to anyone trying to build a nice gaming or streaming PC on a budget. It has everything you need and is a work horse.
Pros: -Wireless features exceed expectations.
-Sturdy construction.
-Easy to set up.
-Comes with more headers than you probably need in a small build.
Cons: -Does not come with heat spreaders for M.2 drives.
-Wireless antenna cable could be longer.
Overall Review: This is a great motherboard for micro-ATX builds. There are plenty of features, fan headers, RGB connectivity, and wireless features. The included antenna supports the latest WIFI protocols and the latest Bluetooth. PCI-e 4.0 accommodates the latest and fastest M.2 drives and graphics cards.
REVIEW UPDATE 1/18/2022 Easy to install, but BIOS upgrade needed for Windows 11, then BSOD's1/20/2022 6:39:53 AM
Pros: I like the WIFI feature, and the included graphics in the RYZEN 5600 I used.
Cons: UPDATE: "System will not stay up, very unstable at standard clock speeds. Unusable, I wasted my money."
1/18/2002 UPDATE: VERY LATEST UPDATE FROM WINDOWS 11 FIXED THE INSTABILITY PROBLEM> SYSTEM RUNNING VERY STABLE. IT WAS A FRUSTRATION, BUT NOW ALL IS CORRECTED> RUNNING AT AT 4.2 OVERCLOCKED< BUT I WILL BACK DOWN TO STOCK SPEED.
Overall Review: NOTE: INSTALL WITH THE VERY LATEST WINDOWS UPDATE I have had many problems with my rig. Installed WIN 11, after BIOS upgrade, no biggy. Then after getting the installation completed, it is constantly BSOD, after downloading and installing Win updates, ASUS drivers, reinstalling WIN 11, updating WINDOWS 11 with latest releases. Nothing I have done solves the problem. Deinstalled memory, piece by piece, Still, constant SYSTEM ERROR/ STOPS, BSOD very unstable. at normal standard clock settings. I've had to revert to my old rig, cannot tolerate the constant BSOD, and auto reboots that occur constantly.
