Pros: -Easy installation -Easy driver installation
Cons: -Black Screen of Death when playing games such as COD:Warzones, Cuisine Royal, etc. -Crashes PC if using common software such as Google Chrome. -Also causes BSOD when using more than one monitor.
Overall Review: I would not recommend this to anyone, and I've decided not to buy AMD anymore because their "fix" to the black screen issue did nothing.
Pros: -Looks cool but not too flashy with a little RGB strip -Asus Brand -State-of-the-Art -Performance -Value
Cons: -Software is a little tricky to navigate, not a lot of documentation, you need to fool around with it, which I actually don't mind doing -Blocks PCIe x1 slot on motherboard (though this is more of a motherboard issue)
Overall Review: I would highly recommend this GPU. I did lots of research and picked this one for my first PC build EVER (a gaming PC for my 15-year-old son). Since the CPU/GPU/Mobo are the most important components, these are the areas I splurged, wanting to make sure the system was forward-compatible. This GPU was the east expensive AMD Radeon RX5700 at the time I bought it, which is surprising since it's such a strong product. I haven't overclocked it yet, but it's really easy to do. I have seen that you can update the BIOS to make it into an XT model, though this is risky. Grab one before they're gone!
Pros: Easy installation Nice GPU monitoring software
Cons: Green Screen of Death
Overall Review: Bought this card for a new build that primarily runs CS:GO. No problem getting approx. 300 FPS on default settings. Unfortunately, after about 10 cycles, even though I have the latest drivers and a well ventilated case, I consistently get a Green Screen of Death for no apparent reason. I haven’t seen the GPU temps get above 80C and the crashes don’t appear to be related to excessive usage as the crashes usually happen shortly after starting gaming. Not sure how to troubleshoot, perhaps it was a defective card. After the PC crashes and restarts I can usually go on uninterrupted. Odd.
Pros: Price and performance. Top 10 in GPU hierarchy, and nearly top 5. Drives a 2K gaming monitor with ease. Faster memory clock speed than stock RX 5700. ASUS build quality and reputation.
Cons: Slower memory clock speed than the XT. Single RGB strip lighting. [This may be a Pro for some.]
Overall Review: Upgraded from an XFX RX580 card in order to drive a 2K gaming monitor. Same 8GB GDDR6 VRAM as an XT, though with a slightly lower memory clock speed -- but at a significantly lower price point. Perfect balance between price and performance. And in this 2-fan form factor, no graphics card droop to contend with. VERY happy with this purchase.
Pros: +Price to performance +Quiet +Easy to overclock
Cons: -AMD drivers
Overall Review: So far no complaints on this card. Compared to RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 in different computers this one beats RTX 2060 in almost all games and is close to or equal to RTX 2070 after OC. This is all based on behind feel and not strictly looking at frames. I did have to turn off AMD anti-lag & image sharpening as this caused micro stutters, but after turning both off I have not had any performance or driver issues. I would recommend this card if you want raw fps and don't need RTX features.
Overall Review: Very bad memory temps
Pros: Great performance has expected
Cons: - very very noisy - confusing software
Overall Review: If you don’t care about the noise from the fans that are always at 100%.... go for it!
Pros: - Can deliver good performance
Cons: - Crash PC randomly on some game. - No fixe, no solution in updated driver` - Only Tuning can fixe some of the crashing (reducing Voltage or underclocking)
Overall Review: - I had problem with 5700 and I'm not the only one. - Go with another one
