Not pleased 8/9/2020 4:05:34 PM

Pros: Multiple DP sockets

Cons: Seems like this card doing multiple things. I can not play a game on one monitor and jave a web browser open in another. Every singlw time i do, everything turns sluggish. Ive updated all my components in trying to find the root cause and it all comes back to the gpu on my Ryzen 3800x build.

Overall Review: Poor

Awesome 8/8/2020 6:49:57 PM

Pros: Works just like it is suppose to. It looks like they fixed the heatsink and screw issue, but time will tell.

Overall Review: Worth a purchase.

Utter garbage 8/6/2020 5:53:38 AM

Pros: Probably a great video card if it worked as it should

Cons: drivers are garbage do not work
card shuts entire computer down
black screen
green screen blue screen
BSOD errors
runs fairly hot unless you turn up the fan speed

Overall Review: I would not and could not recommend this video card until the drivers are fixed which may never happen as AMD has moved on to RDNA2 so good luck with that. As I said in the pros for the card would be great if it worked, if you are doing productivity may be great heavy graphics or gaming forget it it will black screen or just shut the whole computer down.

Not the greatest card bought 7/30/2020 11:12:17 AM

Pros: Look good great reputation but once install in the PC seem like my old NVIDIA 1060 was better then this. The fps are really low and i run in on an amd ryzen 3800 not a bad cpu. i also have 32 gb of ram so it is either defective or bad quality

Cons: Low FPS on ultra setting in WOW classic. According to some review it was suppose to be 200 plus fps i have issue maintaining 60 fps. It drop to 20 sometimes. Also i have some artifact at time that appear on screen and when i boot my PC it seem that the card one time every 4 retry wont have the fan spinning. After a few restart it finnally start but with bad FPS in games.

Overall Review: I am really disappointed with this product and would gladly send it back for refund if it was possible. I dont know what to do to get it replace can someone help me out there.

Dear Dominique,

It is unfortunate to hear that your video card is having performance issues in WoW. Are your drivers up to date and are you overclocking? Artifacting can be caused by unstable overclocks. Great video card - Purchased November 2019 7/28/2020 9:55:40 AM

Pros: Great GPU power. Handles graphics games and software beautifully. No issues with my card after 8 months of daily use for work and games.

Cons: - It does run hot while gaming - though not as hot has some have posted. I have a good one. I see 52-58C for my normal use using PDF editor, Office apps and 2D AutoCAD. I see 70C for Red Dead 2 at 4k resolution with most settings on Ultra and High.
- It's big - make sure your case can fit it.
- It does get loud when temps rise, but noise doesn't bother me that much. I use headphones for gaming typically, and when i don't it's no big deal for me.
-Watch out for driver updates. Device Manager grabs the wrong one if you tell it to search online, and causes issues. Go to the actual support page and download the most recent.

Overall Review: I'm running this card with a maxed out LGA 1150 mobo using a i7-4790X 4 GHz processor, 32 GB DD3 and solid state OS and Gaming drives.
My excuse for needing this card was for my work apps such as Bluebeam (PDF editor) and AutoCAD. But the real reason was because I had just downloaded Red Dead 2 PC and my old card couldn't handle it.
This card runs the game at 4k resolution beautifully at mostly Ultra and High settings at 59-60 fps average. Sometimes I just sit in awe at how gorgeous the graphics are and how this card can push them in actual gameplay. This is how I imagined future gaming would be back when I was a teen playing Space Quest and King's Quest on a 386DX-40 processor (top of the line back then.) As mentioned it does get hot - about 70C, so I run a tower fan in front of the PC just to cool it off a bit more.
I've been running this daily for 8 months for work and for gaming, and have had no issues.
One temporary issue I had is when i used Device Manager to automatically update my driver. It grabbed something that was version 27.xxxxx, but on the support page it had a different version, 26.xxxx. I was having problems starting Red Dead when I had the 27.xxxx version installed, but when I used the support page download it fixed the issues I was having.

It seems this card has been having some bad builds since I bought mine. Back then there the average was higher - maybe COVID is messing with supply chain and they're getting bad parts somewhere? I just know my pre-COVID board is running awesome and for the money at the time, it offered better performance than the NVIDIA alternatives.

Bad out of box 7/26/2020 11:37:10 AM

Pros: Looks good

Overall Review: Would not recommend. Threw this in my new build and on stock settings was getting all sorts of screen tearing and artifacting in all games I played. Put my old GTX 1060 back in just to make sure it was this GPU causing the problems, and everything ran fine. Kinda bummed, I was excited to try this gpu, but now I'm just getting a refund and getting a 2060 super instead.

Absolutely Perfect 7/20/2020 6:00:56 PM

Pros: 3 - 4K monitors and 1 - 2K monitor. runs amazing.

Cons: none

Overall Review: Side rant: As any real gamer knows, you do not air cool anything. If you happen to be one of those people, sorry your going to overheat. On YOU not ASUS, so do not bad review because you failed. Also if your card had issues with tension and heat related issues, well you are building a gaming pc, you didn't hire a pro to build it, A pro would have checked over every component not only for fit and finish but compatibility.
I am running 3 4k monitors 27" Asus and a 2 k side monitor 75" for music, text messages and what not while gaming. Room temp 20C. Avg temp (non gaming) 28C. Max Load 39C (102F).
This card is very stable and very solid. I purchased this card with the understanding it had issues with its heatsink. Being liquid cooled that was not a concern. Its hardware capabilities is what i cared about, and it performs exactly as i need it to. 14 hr continuous gaming with no instability. This is with no tweaks to voltage or manual clock speed adjustments. I can't wait to add a second card and 3 more monitors.
