Loving this videocard!

Pros: Alright so I own this card for afew months now and all I can say is that I'm quite impressed with the performance.
Currently running this on a AMD FX Series "8350" on Asus 970 Gaming Pro/Aura and actually managing to pull 70~85 Fps on 1080p max settings on Rocket League, 60-75 on ESO same with BDO.

Cons: Can't list one thing bad about AMD and ASUS products.... Never really failed me yet. besides the Amd driver updates but that's just a easy fix to me... rollback.. :)

Overall Review: Hell ya I would recommended this product! ASUS Radeon RX 580 DirectX 12 DUAL-RX580-O8G for sure!

Dual-RX580-08G

Pros: - Dual fans and upgraded heatsink over the RX480
- Fastest AMD video card at the moment of this review which does not utilize HBM1 or HBM2. Just the RX580, not saying this is the fastest version of the RX580 from other manufacturers.
- Not as hot as most reviews say. I ran this card overclocked at 1411MHz, with a 50mv overclock to 1200mv, at a mem clock of 8000MHz, while playing Call of Duty WWII on Extra (ultra) settings, minus motion blur, and the temps were around 60 to 70 Celsius. For those of you who think 70 Celsius is hot, it isn't. These GPUs can handle 90 Celsius. Been there, and there aren't really issues with AMD GPUs unless you stay over 90 Celsius for a while when gaming hard.
- Sweet, stable overclock, giving the same settings as the Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 for almost $100 less. Actually purchased this video card off of newegg, but I always leave my reviews here. Base clock on this card is 1340MHz, so at 1411MHz, that is a 71MHz gain, without too much effort, and I know this card has more overclock overhead to spare. The way I figure it, is that if a Sapphire RX580 Limited Edition has the exact same GPU as this ASUS RX580, then it is really a matter of settings and cooling to balance the equation. I did test this card at 1450 MHz with a 87mv overclock to 1237mv, and a mem clock of 8000 MHz, and this works fine. The temp during playing Call of Duty WWII with Extra (ultra) settings was 73 Celsius. So, the ASUS RX580 can hit the same speed as a Sapphire Nitro+ Limited Edition while gaming, once again without shelling out the extra bucks for it. I believe liquid cooling is required, or at least is the safest bet, when pushing this video card over 1450MHz towards 1480MHz.
- (Update 1-16-2019) This card was overclocked to 1480Mhz with a +90 mv o.c. to 1240mv while gaming at 77 degrees Celsius. I have been reading around at the maximum 'safe' mv o.c. is about 1230 mv or +80 mv o.c. and I personally believe that this card can take a 100 mv o.c. to 1250 mv without too many issues which I would consider the 'absolute maximum' mv o.c. I ran the ASUS Dual-RX580-08G at 1500 Mhz at 1250 mv with a +100 mv o.c., however the mv setting auto-throttled back to +96 mv while gaming at less than 80 degrees Celsius, but 1500 Mhz was maintained and not auto-throttled back. I would still recommend liquid cooling when gaming above 1450 Mhz. I do game at 1450 Mhz all day without any issues or hiccups on stock air cooling. Regardless AMD suggests that gaming between 70 degrees Celsius and 80 Celsius is standard and that the RX 580 GPU and VRAM can handle temps in the upper 90s Celsius. At this point the video card will auto 'throttle down' to prevent thermal damage to the internal components.
- Idle temps are around 29 to 40 Celsius.
- No coil whine. Fans are only noisy at 100% RPM, which I personally actually enjoy because I like to know my cooling is working at full throttle too. I adjusted the fan settings to never run less than 50%, however the stock setting for this video card is to never run the fans when the temp is below 50 Celsius. Heat kills, so I always cool the GPU. It all adds up in the end.
- Good looking card, although there are no blue LEDs, which I do like, but don't need. Regardless, the heatsink on this card matches my Cooler Master V8 (original model, not the new one)
- Small enough to fit into a mid-tower without an extended triple fan heatsink, which I feel is pointless, and equally pointless at around $100 more than this dual fan version.
- Using GPU Tweak II one can achieve an overclock of around 1435MHz, however, there are reports of RX580s hitting 1480MHz using other overclocking software, and sub-zero liquid cooling. Personally I am sticking to 1411MHz and matching the base model Nitro+ RX580.
- Other than DOA cards, I think the bad reviews are lies. ASUS has always been my favorite brand for motherboards and monitors, and this is my first time away from Sapphire for an AMD video card, but I am very pleased...very very very pleased that the ASUS RX580 can hit and hold 1450MHz.

Cons: - The most recent drivers from the ASUS website for this video card, are not even the most recent drivers. Hmmmm...
- Tinkering with GPU Tweak II was like swimming through peanut butter while stuck in quicksand. I mean, would it really kill a developer to make a precision GPU software that could control GPU and VRAM clocks as well as GPU voltage in the single digits? Being able to make all adjustments with 10s is very tricky business, and clunky.
- No backplate to to reduce heat on the circuit board from the rear.
- The chokes have a black aluminum heatsink running across the top of them, but the VRAM does not have any type of heatsink. It would be nice to have a set of VRAM heatsinks on here, but it doesn't come stock.

Overall Review: - Consider removing the original thermal paste and putting on professional thermal paste like Arctic Silver which uses pure micronized silver for better thermal conductivity between the GPU and the heatsink.
- The temps recorded were conducted with a 80 plus bronze, 1000 watt, four rail Rosewill power supply, limiting power to the video card to around 200 watts on a single rail. At 1411 MHz the max wattage drawn was 198.3 watts.
- GPU Tweak II is bad...the opposite of good...there is no nice way of saying this. However, if you go over to the Sapphire website, I found that one can still use Sapphire Trixx with the ASUS RX580 to get precise overclocking numbers dialed in. Haven't had a problem yet, and the video card is running about 5 Celsius cooler using Sapphire Trixx. Go figure.
- The lack of VRAM heatsinks can be easily made up for, for just few dollars buy purchasing some copper or aluminum VRAM heatsinks. Mod it, easy work.
- When not gaming I idle the card at 1360 MHz, I don't leave it overclocked. Common sense.
- Nothing else to say about this card, but I did catch it on a sale for a good price.
- Good card, good price. Wish I had the cash for a 16 core thread ripper and a new motherboard, but I don't.

They are okay-ish

Pros: Very good value for 200 bucks with 2 free games that already has value of 100 bucks. You are getting this for just 100 bucks for good graphics card.
This thing supports free sync 2.0!(which i dont have :( )
Runs heavily modded skyrim with acceptable frame rate.

Cons: It has well known issue of coil whine, but most of gpu that has big power house has common problem as well.

Got around low 20 percentile on gpu alone(tried multiple attempts but similar result).

Gets pretty hot in full load, might wanna think about undervolting it before AMD release new software.(they are planning to release the program pretty soon)

Overall Review: People might consider to RMA depends on how loud is this coil whine it. Personally mine was good too bad, so i will probably keep it around until it gets worse. Planning to keep it this way before my warrenty ends, because in performance wise it is acceptable.

solid performance

Pros: Great card, I purchased it for around $175 on Black Friday. Excellent speed!

Cons: Non yet.

Overall Review: The bit coin market has really messed with pricing. If this card is selling for over $250, buy an RX570, just as good.

Apparently DOA out of the box

Pros: No idea yet but I will update when the defective card is replaced

Cons: The PC would not boot with the card installed. Literally no power coming to the system. When I removed the card it did post. When I reinstalled the old card this replaced, everything work fine. RMA'd already and will update.
