does this MB support 10gig ethernet? i cant find it clearly specified but maybe im blind.

It has the Intel I211-AT Gigabit LAN controller which is only gigabit. Of course you can get a nic but that'll also knock your first pcie slot down to by 8 depending on which slot you put it in. The only Asus AMD boards that come with 10 gig in the box are some of the X399 threadripper boards.

The short answer Yes. This motherboard works with any PCIe 3.0 graphics card. Which basically any AMD Radeon 200 to the latest AMD Radeon 580 and any NVIDIA GeForce 600 to the latest 2000 series graphics card. Make sure you download the latest driver for your graphics card dirrectly from the manufacturer website to take full advantage of the graphics card performance.

Anyone know of decent, INEXPENSIVE, COMPATIBLE memory to max it up to 64GB? I've tried 64GB of the Signature Patriot 2400mhz RAM but couldn't get it to work...

Ryzen performs tremendously better with good RAM, I would advise against cheap sticks. Speeds also differ depending on what generation Ryzen you are using. It also does not usually like RAM with built in XMP profiles (that's for Intel). You have to make sure you are getting RAM that is made for use with AMD. Long gone are the days where you can just buy random parts and slap them all together.
You may be able to get yours to work by turning XMP profile OFF in the bios but there are a number of things that could be happening when you just say "couldn't get it to work".

what type of rgb led strips would work with this motherboard?

As far as I can discern, just about any of them. I have some fans and strips that came with controllers of their own and simply plugged them up to my MB, using the software utility that came with my MB. I even have some on splitters. Gigabyte has some lighting that uses  UV/White that may not function as such; however, the other lights should work okay. Basically, it's just wires going to lights and it's power from the wires that make them function so you shouldn't have any issues. The software controls the sequences of the lighting.

I'm thinking of getting the BE QUIET DARK ROCK PRO 4  HEATSINK FOR THIS MOTHERBOARD IS THAT A GOOD IDEA?

That will depend mostly on the processor that you are planning to use and the case that it is going into.  The Dark Rock Pro 4 has the proper brackets for the AM4 socket, so you should have no problems there.  And the cooling it provides should be sufficient unless you are looking to heavily overclock a 1700X (or other X processor).  The other factor will be the case.  You will want to make sure that you have clearance in the case for mounting a cooler of that size.  Hope this helps!

Use case will determine that.. This board is eatx  so it's bigger then normal and has no  space limitations  for any card on the market

I apologize for the above reply as it was intended for the post above with the sound question and somehow answered this post instead. To answer with the included screws for the M.2 slots, "YES". One has them on the heatsink and the other has them in the hole for the screw.

im currently running 2 580 rx's  would love 3 ... would love 4 ... but cant find the motherboard for it ....  with 3 way on this motherboard, would all the cards be limited to the performance from the pci 2.0 ? would there be any performance gain to running 3 way or should I just stick to 2 way with this motherboard?

If you are gaming then there is no perf improvement on 3 and/or 4 way GPU setup as games nowadays dont scale that far, you are better of sticking with two GPUs or upgrading to a single stronger card in the Geforce lineup.

But if you decide to go 3 or 4 way GPU setup then this MB will support all GPUs at x8 speeds as there aren’t enough express lanes coming from the CPU. If you want 3 or 4 way GPU setup at x16 speeds then you need a high-end Threadripper as not even intel i9 have enough lanes for this. There are lots of vids and info online about this.
