Pros: Great build quality lots of expandability and connectivity. wifi included
Cons: A couple of design issues prevent things from fitting 100%....specifically.... 1. The m2 slot sits under the second PCIe slot. This probably would not have been a problem, but my m2 drive had an installed HS, so if I had tried to put the GPU into this slot the GPU HSF would not have cleared the m2 drive heatsink. Also the m2 coverplate will not fit back on if you get an m2 drive with a HS, I just left it off, don't think this is terrible. Not really a big deal...except it exposed issue #2 2. Had to mount GPU in slot 1, fine no problem....except that I had a Noctua DH-15 ...that HS was too wide based upon the location of the cpu. If the board had been designed with the cpu 2 mm to the north it would have cleared GPU, but as it was the HS is right up against the GPU backplate, and I couldn't install the fan. I switched out to a corsair A500 and it fit (running cool and quiet, but their are some sub-optimal issues with A500 also -- I lapped the A500 though and seemed to improve the interface)
Overall Review: Every build has its its quirks. The cons above were not terribly big issues, everything worked and fit in the end, so quite happy. Note in the photos the board is great looking and has a lot of amazing features...but with the CPU HSF in place you cant even seen it!! The board is designed for a water cooled build in mind. I was initially planning to do this, but I haven't committed yet (or been able to find a GPU) so I will probably convert to a liquid cooled build when I update my GPU.
Pros: Very fast attractive board, lots of USB connections, plenty of SATA ports and a lot of features..
Cons: First board I got failed and had to RMA it due to a USB over-current error. The board would not get past this error. I RMA the board and received another board and all seems ok now. That being said, I will have to say that while I was disappointed with this issue I am still an avid ASUS fan.. I've been buying nothing but ASUS motherboards and other PC related items for over 20 years and this was my first problem ever! My first motherboard from ASUS was the A7V-133 then the A7N8X Deluxe other items by ASUS that I have owned are the Asus A8N-E, Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0, the Eee PC, ZEN pad 3S and several other items. Thanks to ASUS for fixing my issue with no hassles..
Overall Review: Over-all I do believe this board will service me great over the next few years.
Pros: Great VRM and cooling and dual usb 3.0 front io headers, not many boards have dual usb 3.0
Overall Review: Great Motherboard for enthusiast i bent one of my usb 3.0 headers by accident but it has dual so its nice. I use it without vrm block on water yet but the back Armor and the oled screen is nice gives post code readouts. i had to bios flash just saying for my 5950x but a nice board for enthusiast
Pros: DRGB Works ! Now at least. Fixed my error. VRM's never get hot ! 19c is the highest ive seen at my ambient temperature.
Cons: Initial bios has wonky PBO that wont boost to processors boost speed. But, manual OC on CCX0 in Ryzen master does the trick there. Not knocking off an egg for early bios deals. They'll get better and I can maybe switch back to PBO .
Overall Review: I initially thought I had RGB problems on my board, but after some tinkering I found that I installed the connector wrong :o DRGB connectors arent dummy proof ! but, that does make them backward compatible with normal RGB headers I suppose. Would be nice if the arrow on the EK-Velocity block pointed at the ground pin, not the 5V pin :3 Was what I assumed at first. I'm new to RGB headers :|
Pros: * Solid, with a metal backplate. * Comes with supports for the stock Ryzen cooler pre-installed. * BIOS update was trivial. * Driver disk didn't try to install too much shovelware. * Attractive.
Cons: * Documentation leaves a little to be desired here and there, and some of the illustrations are confusing (e.g., putting the standoffs in to support the M.2 drives). * I still have no idea how to assemble the included WiFi antenna on its base. I ended up cracking the plastic base. Not a big deal, but a good example of where a couple words or a good illustration could have gone a long way. * If you have M.2 devices with their own heatsinks, you likely won't be able to insert a card into the nearby PCI slot. The board includes a heatspreader cover for the M.2 drives, but you can't use that in conjunction with your M.2 devices' own heatsinks.
Overall Review: I'm a noob when it comes to building PCs. This is only my second, and my first was many years ago. This board is a dream, with the metal backplate to give it rigidity, the mounting hardware for the stock AMD cooler already installed, and well marked connectors all around. Many of the complaints in the other reviews seem to be about the water cooling features. I'm not taking advantage of water cooling, so I can't speak to those issues.
Pros: nice looking board comes with water block attached
Cons: First board i recieved had a bad chip causing cpu to run hot cause it wasnt aloud to lower voltage
Overall Review: i bought this board in july of 2019 and was excited to finally have flagship board as i had only ever used low end boards before.within 2 months had to rma the first board due to voltage issues got the replacement in and had been running it until for little over a year when i decided to change cases.i removed the motherboard to find that the backplate had come off the motherboard and was laying in the case.side note my computer stays on a desk, has never been dropped mishandled or even moved more than five feet to clean it in the time it spent in the old case.i contacted asus about the issue and was told that it would be classified as physical damage and that i could send it in but i would void the warranty.really disappointed in the quality of the board and honestly feel like i got slapped in the face cause i choose to support a company by buying the (best) board they could put out.
Pros: very well constructed
Cons: just the bios flash
Overall Review: I would recommend this mother board

Pros: -Watercooled VRM option -plenty of sata ports for more drives
Cons: -does not have much options for water cooling the VRM due to space availability for top mounted radiator with fans. Rad/fans blocks VRM ports for 16mm OD rigid tubings.
Overall Review: -recommend new placement for VRM ports for accessibility compatibility or custom mono block for Crosshair VIII formula.
