I have two questions : 
This says it has the AC wirelesss device  so it has been furnished with the latest wireless card?
If I wanted to have the memory maxed would you max it to 32MB if so what would the added cost be?

Not 100% on wireless card, but it handles my gaming needs perfect on multiple wireless networks, with a good download speed. no more lag than what i have on my Direct connected PC. And if you want to up it to 32gigs. You will want to head over to the laptop memory section and see what 32 gigs goes for. Not a very specific answer but its a pretty awesome laptop, bigger than most. Being a texas sorta means i had to get this one.

Can I rely on Newegg's refurbished items and their return policy?

Hello, 
After a few months my G750JZ's 880m GPU has stopped working and is not detected by my computer at all. What are the GPU upgrade possibilities for the G750JZ? Can I upgrade my unresponsive 880m to a 970m?

The gpu its self can not be gust replaced it's part of the video card. The card itself can be replaced.

Question 4

By purchasing this refurbished product along with a 2yr protection plan, what type of coverage and return/ replacement can I expect?

I purchased a refurb G750JZ-DS71 in December. What you have to do is read the terms of service agreement for you warranty. I purchased a 1 or 2 year warranty with mine and it covers your basic issues (technical/manufacturing defects), replacement parts & labor (for a period of time), and the like.

I will say that I haven't had a single issue with my purchase (except for the windows 8 that comes with it). Granted its only been a little under three months, but I'm very happy with it. The money I saved was excellent and I trust the ASUS brand.

If you do get this, I would look into applying a different shell. This'll allow you to have the "feel" of windows XP/7 as far as looks. Loading is beyond comparison to my older (4 years) ASUS ROG of the same family.

Battery life is alright for regular activities, but, of course, gaming you're going to need an outlet.

Anyway, I like it.
