Q: Any issues installing a SSD into the M.2 using the 2280 type screw ?

Yes mine was a major pain in the butt! The M.2 heat sinks were screwed in so hard I almost stripped the screws trying to get them out. So before I did any more damage I stopped and ordered a Precision Screwdriver Set and was able to get them out using these. It still was super hard to unscrew them but these held the screw much better. Asus really needs to tell the people putting these in to not screw them in so hard.

Even an asus rampage works with windows 10.  If you head to asus's website you can see what drivers are available for it by searching the motherboard model and then the operating system.

Hi! Yes. It's compatible. The 8th and 9th gen Intel CPUs use the same LGA 1151 socket type. I'm currently using an 8700k on mine.

is this board compatibal with ddr3 ram ?

No, the Intel Z390 chipset on this board only supports DDR4 RAM. DDR3 RAM will not work, and won't physically fit in the DIMM slots.

How does this do with a i9 9900K in terms of power and stability with a light overclock under 5ghz would do since it will go above 95 TDP ?

I’m sorry I thought it was about the cooler I set. But either way I’m at 5.25GHZ with no issues whatsoever. I have used this motherboard for multiple 9900k builds for clients already.

Question 5

On the top right of the motherboard there is an 8 pin and a 4 pin connector for what is usually the CPU. The 8 pin I've seen before but the 4 pin I have not. My PSU doesn't come with a 4 pin. The manual says you can plug in just the 8 or the (8 and the 4). Any idea what the 4 pin connector is?

The reason there is a 4-pin along with an 8-pin is for the extra power for overclocking. You only need the 8-pin power as that is capable of at least 400W which for most CPUs is enough. The only reason you would need the 4-pin power is if you are doing intense overclocking that would require the extra power. A normal 8-pin will work just fine by itself.
