Not exactly ideal7/20/2020 12:22:43 PM
Pros: -Feels solid
-Stable voltages
-Very quiet / fans rarely on even under high load
-Very visually appealing
Cons: -Only the motherboard, gpu, and cpu cables are sleeved. The rest are just white plastic with white connectors.
-On arrival the power supply had a rattle as if there were loose components (not the fan). The rattle was only present when moving, shaking, tapping the power supply or when the system was under load and the fan turned on. Whenever my case fans turn on and theres some vibration from it the PSU will rattle. It sounds like a soda can pop top fell in and you shake it side to side.
-Cables are intertwined. For example, there are two 4+4 pin CPU cables. My MSI MAG X570 motherboard requires 8 + 4 for CPU power. The two 4+4 CPU cables aren't able to fully separate because a few of the cables loop through the other connectors cables. So the end result is being unable to use a cable comb and mess cable management in the back because the cables don't fully separate.
Overall Review: I absolutely love the design, the build quality, and the concept of shipping cables that are pre-sleeved. The internal specs look good on paper and there is a 10 year warranty. I believe this unit is just a rebranded high end seasonic psu which is great.
I may have just gotten a bad unit and may have just gotten poorly terminated cables. If they sort out the quality assurance issues and provide a cable comb the motherboard power cable, this power supply would flourish.
Great PSU, but beware of 0 dB mode9/1/2021 10:52:04 AM
Pros: Has enough power to run my video card (NVidia 3070ti RTX) and storage devices (3 HDDs, 2 SSDs) when working properly. Easy installation and connection to devices. Giving system builders an option as to which plugs to add also helps keep the wire sprawl down.
Cons: Beware of 0 dB mode. It turns the PSU fan down to low/off which caused me system instability issues as the PSU was overheating trying to keep up with my video card and storage devices. Once I turned off that feature, the random system crashes stopped.
Overall Review: It's great for a wide range of computer applications, but better in-box documentation about 0 dB mode (it's only one line in the booklet) and a recommendation to turn it off when using power hungry devices would be appreciated.

Awesome PSU3/15/2021 12:09:36 PM
Pros: Works as intended. I bought two of these and both seem to work underload without issue. Fingers crossed they keep going for years to come.
The 10 year warranty is great to have.
Overall Review: Great PSU overall. I love that it's 1000w in a regular atx form factor. Makes fitting into smaller cases easier.
Overall Review: Purchased in a combo to get a 3070. No use for this right now but will use it in a year or 2 if it works. Made by seasonic so it would be okay
Pros: Good looking unit, Premium packaging, as expected from ROG
Works perfectly with cablemods
Totally silent and a 0 rpm mode switch is on the back
Cons: None at the moment,
Overall Review: Would buy again without any hesitation

Great quality for the price4/28/2020 12:23:12 AM
Overall Review: Used this in a Corsair 220t case with no problems. I've been buying Corsair for power supplies but decided to try Asus since that's the motherboard and gpu I bought. Glad I gave it a buy.
