What are the FPS usually?

Really depends on the game. Some manage GPU resources much better than others, but in most AAA game titles I've tried, I can run the highest possible settings at 1920x1080 and I average about 50-60 FPS. Lowest dip I've ever seen, and this was maxed everything and looking into a long-distance scene with lots of objects in it, was like 28 FPS. I did a standalone benchmark 3D test and the toughest stuff they could throw at it only dipped it to about 25 FPS, but usually it floated anywhere from 45-60+

Is there a second hard drive slot for added storage?

Yes there is a 2.5 inch slot ready and waiting after you undo something like 10 or so screws on the back try not to lose any LOL. It is plug and play install though, easy stuff, cheap upgrade. I am going to do mine sometime this week, I am going with an SSD 2TB, already upgraded the memory to 32GB.

What is the maximum RAM on it? I do a lot of graphics and have found a gaming computer to handle the loads better, but RAM matters a lot as well.

yeah its trickey , there was a link that helped me glitch it into working after using keyboard brightness shortcuts

click armory crate
click the video game controller
then select system
there should be a lighting option on the upper right tab

definitely do updates before hand

had to play with it a while though. Every thing kept rainbow strobing regardless of what I selected initially then did updates and went to lighting and its working

Question 6

Each time I launch a game, Fortnite, Hearthstone, Diablo, etc. the connection is very poor.  I can surf the web with no problems but any time a game starts it's just terrible.  Any ideas of what could be causing this?  Games are unplayable at the moment.

Surfing the web doesn't have the throughput demands that playing a game online would have.  For most websites, you will not notice a huge problem if you have little drops in your connection speeds but it will make a big difference in gaming.  Streaming video might not show an underlying connection problem either, as your system will buffer the stream while your connection is strong.

I recently was changing out a USB charging cable connected to the back of my PC while I was watching a movie and had accidentally unplugged my ethernet cable.  The movie continued to stream for a good 20-30 seconds before I noticed a little message that said that my computer was no longer connected to the internet.  I plugged the ethernet cable back and had no drop off in the movie quality at any point.

As John D. suggested, running a speed test is a good idea to verify your provider is giving you adequate service.  If you are running wirelessly you should also run that speed test with a hardline connection.  Your provider's speed might be fine, but you could be having interference issues with your WIFI.  If it's your own WIFI connection that is the issue, a repeater might resolve your issue.

Yes, it will support up to 64 gigs of DDR memory and you can go with a 1 terabyte SSD if you wanted to.  You can also keep your data in the cloud and not have to worry about back ups or using disk space.

If a Customer was to put more ram in the laptop would it void the warranty on it?   What would be the suggested manufactured brand for memory

The warranty card says they'll only service original parts. Not sure what would happen if you were to switch it and install the old one if you ever need it serviced.

The processor seems to be new enough that I honestly can't get a straight answer on the speed that's compatible with it.
