Pros: The card performs well enough if you just use your computer for idling on your desktop. The card yields about 75fps standing still playing WoW with max visual settings.

Cons: The card overheats if you do anything but idle. Playing WoW for roughly 15 minutes the card will meet/exceed 89 degrees C and cause the system to reboot. Swapped the vid card with an 8800, issue resolved, problem follows original card. So if you like overheating due to poor heatsink design, this card is for you

Overall Review: I could've purchased an alternate VGA cooler but after thinking about it, when purchasing a product, it should be ready to use/reliable as is with no modifications necessary.

Pros: Images/graphics look terrific

Cons: stock heatsink/fan is poor, suggest Zalman. Stock heatsink/fan=60 c idle

Pros: No problems with card or driver. Runs everything, including Call of Duty, very well.

Cons: Expensive. I know that $300 these days is consider middle of the road, but it's still a lot of money if you ask me.

Overall Review: For the occasional gamer, this card is fine. If gaming is all you do, you'd probably be better off spending more.

Pros: Plays everything I throw at it at max settings with now problems. Overclocks to XT speed easy although I am running mine at 625/650 all the time.

Pros: Lets me play Oblivion with a single card. I can't do SLI on my motherboard, and I needed the fastest single card solution I could find. The x1900GT gave it to me. Tried two cards using the 7900 Nividia chip, because a lot of folks seem to like Nividia. Card one was bad, and card two kept crashing with Oblivion and just didn't perform well. (thanks for the RMA's Newegg!) I decided to go ATI, and I haven't looked back. Faster core clock speed of 575Mhz was a selling point, and card has worked great right out of the box.

Cons: Can't think of any. Some might say the fan is loud when running at 100%, but I always have headphones on when gaming, and it's inaudible during normal computing chores.

Overall Review: This card can be mildly overclocked without problems, and on Oblivion it's giving quite acceptable gameplay on High video quality (not Ultra High, though) with distant redering turned off, shadows dialed back, etc. For a single slot solution, I recommend it highly

Pros: Excellent core\mem. speed. Although it has only 36 shaders, compared to 48 for XT and XTX, this card still produces stunning images (hopefully, they'll be an unlock to pump it to 48 shaders since it's the built on the same R580 as the XT and XTX).

Cons: Don't let the benchmarks fool you... especially with games that utilize shading heavily, this card ROCKS!

Overall Review: Even with stock cooling, this card is a great overclocker!! Get it!

Pros: Runs great! Faster performance than two 6900gs cards in a second machine I am running and all by itself. Purchasing a second one to run crossfire.

Cons: Runs hot, but put a Thermaltake heatsink and fan and it runs great.

Overall Review: Mr Bungle, you do not need to use a special Crossfire card w/ the x1900 GT cards. Just pair it with a second x1900gt and you can run crossfire w/o all the extra cables and purchasing a crossfire card.

Pros: Beautiful graphics when it works.

Cons: Overheats and locks up too often. Software (Catalyst Control Center) won't even start if the video card is acting up. It will only start if the card is working normally. Glitchy gameplay. Poor quality.

Overall Review: This is the first ATI card I have ever put into a machine of mine. I have been an nVidia fan since the GeForce2 days, but after reading so many great reviews of the Radeon cards, I thought I'd give one a try. I put this card into a new build about 5 months ago. Up until about a month ago it worked great. Now I can barely play any games without it overheating within 10-15 minutes of play. The card will lock up and try to reset itself, sometimes successfully, sometimes not and I'll have to reboot. The software the card comes with won't even start if the card is overheating. Games with which I have this problem: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Everquest 2 Need For Speed: Most Wanted Neverwinter Nights 2 Also, I have never overclocked the card, as that is something I just have no interest in. The case has more than adequate air flow. I don't know what the deal is with this card. Maybe I just got a lemon, or maybe it's that giant thick mylar sticker they put over the whole heatsink.
