Question 1

Would this be able to play games like BF4 and dayz on ultra, or maybe high settings? I want to get a gaming pc for my first time and this seemed like a good one with the nvidia 760 graphics card.

I just got this computer, and according to systemrequirementslab, I could play Battlefield 4, but maybe not on ultra. The only reason this computer doesn't make Battlefield 4's recommended specs (according to this site, anyway) is that this has 2 GB of dedicated video card ram instead of 3GB.

Dayz doesn't come up in the games list there, but something called DayZ Mod comes up. If that's the right game, then this computer looks like it blows the requirements out of the water.

Question 2

I just bought this computer for my son. Neither of us are computer geeks! Do we need to do anything more to use it than you would with any basic computer, just plug in the power cords, hook up the monitor, keyboard and mouse? There are cords that appear to go on the inside of the tower and I don't know what to do with them! Thanks for help.

First and foremost, get a new mouse and keyboard. They are junk. Mine worked for about 5 minutes before the keyboard keys stopped working one by one.

You will need either an hdmi or serial cable connection to run to the monitor. Neither come with this. If you have an old monitor you plan to use, you should already have the serial cord. With a computer like this, you should be running an hdmi to an hd display. I had an extra 32" LCD tv that I use for my monitor.

Thirdly, there is no wireless card. If you plan on running an Ethernet cable right to it, you are fine. Otherwise, you can pick up a wireless adapter that plugs into one USB ports on this tower. Plenty of great options for not much cash on Newegg.

Can it run Dota 2 ?

Pardon my French, but HELL YEAH!!!, and any other game you throw at it. Assassin Creed BF4, Battlefield 4, COD Ghost, Guild Wars 2, Swtor, Skyrim, Titanfall, Payday2, DOTA2....MAXED!!!. I can keep going and going. Human to Human, Gamer to Gamer, BUY THIS COMPUTER.

Its only a few, and I a mean VERY FEW graphic cards (Titan, 290X, ie) better than the one in this system (and its just stock)+ a i5 quad. You buy this system you're in the circle with the big boys/or gals Trust me.

Does the graphics card come in it's own box or is it already in the computer. And does the graphics card come with it's cd?

The graphics card comes installed in the computer. The driver CD for the graphics card came in the box with the computer, but the driver's were already installed. All I had to do was turn the PC on and it was good to go.

Yes I have by keyboard mouse headset and iphone charger plugged in on a regular basis. There are at least 2 more in the back of the machine I don't use.

it doesnt really have bloatware but does come with a great msi boot disk that has great programs and the card is actually a zotac not a msi so be aware of that but it runs fine it also comes with a disk with programs. i advise using msi afterburner for the overclock not the zotac program but thats me. and i added a samsung ssd to it great. had to redo the wires a bit cause they are zip tied down but thats only becuase i also added another hard drive. over all a great pc.

Is the airflow inside the case good?

Yes, the airflow is very good!   I have my right on top of carpet and honestly I don't clean the carpet area as often as often as I should. However, even with the dust accumulation that I have allowed, the airflow has barely been affected. I've only had to vacuum inside the right 3 times since I've bought it and no BARELY any even reached the motherboard. Most was in the family and was quickly removed.

I know this is probably more information than you asked for but knowing how well the airflow is from a guy who was not cleaning as much, would be an indication of how well this unit is. I hope this info helps.

can i get 16 gb of ram on this computer?

Yes. It will require two 8gb sticks however. I just bought this a few weeks ago, and it has two slots for RAM, and has 1 8gb stick in it now of fair quality. The boot up, and processing speed of this thing has been amazing, as has my gaming since getting it. I have gotten a full 60+ fps on Vindictus, Rift, League of Legends, The Old Republic and several single player games such as Thief, and Batman so the standard memory loadout in it, can handle about anything you can throw at it within reason.

Was wondering if anyone had used this specific PC in general to play any Battle net games such as World of Warcraft Mist + or Diablo 3 RoS+ ~ Am looking to purchase this PC and do not plan to upgrade ram or graphics or cpu anytime soon and want to know if this can manage these games until i decide to upgrade?

this computer will handle most of the latest games on ultra graphics settings at 1080p.  It is more than enough for diablo and WoW. I have played mists on this computer and it is flawless.
