Pros: XMP setting works as advertized.
Fast and simple to set up.
You get what you pay for.
Nice heat spreaders; still fits under a giant Noctua heatsink.
Cons: It's expensive.
Overall Review: Worked out of the box. The XMP setting puts it at 3600/16/18/18 with no fuss, rock-solid. Temps and voltage looks like there is a bit of room beyond that if necessary, but the point of a package like this is excellent performance with only a minute's work in BIOS. It delivers exactly that.
Pros: Doesn't break a sweat at 3600 CAS 16, could easily overclock or run at tighter latencies
Overall Review: Plug and play on an X570 mobo with Ryzen 3600X. Enabled XMP profile and this memory flies. Great price, great performance. Very happy customer.
The memory is fine but the software doesn't run!10/14/2020 12:10:05 PM
Pros: The memory runs at XMP 3600MHz, CL16 as advertised.
Low profile. My case is a little tight and my old RAM was too tall for my new AIO radiator.
No RGB!
Cons: The Ballistix MOD Utility says my motherboard is incompatible - I have a fairly common board: Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro WiFi that has been around for couple of years. Looks like the utility hasn't been updated in a long time:( Shame Crucial!
Overall Review: I'm not trying to overclock it so I can't comment on that. Not much faster than my old 3000MHz CL14. My Geekbench 5 score is the same for single threaded test but about 1000 points faster for multithreaded test i9 (9900K). But since I had to get a new RAM anyway I figured I might as well get something faster, but I wasn't expecting a huge improvement, so I'm fine with this.
Pros: Aesthetics is really nice. Stays nice and cool. Worked as expected right out of the box.
Overall Review: Overclocked to 3800c16 with tighter sub-timings no problem on an X570 Tomahawk w/ 5600X.
